This new model was designed by the Lombard firm, with support from the Jeanneau design office and interior designer Jean-Marc Piaton.

The great evolution and strength of this new Sun Odyssey range lies in the step-free deck layout, which makes it much easier to move around on board. This technical and architectural tour de force was initiated by Philippe Briand on the Sun Odyssey 440 in 2017.

The Lombard firm took over, and successfully applied these specifications to all new cruising models from the Jeanneau shipyard.

To integrate such a deck layout on a unit with a hull length of 9.99 m, a few tricks had to be used.

This feat obliged the Vende-based builder to build the deck in infusion, in order to maintain a reasonable displacement and center of gravity. What's more, the maitre beau has put on weight, and the width has increased by almost 15 cm, which is quite a lot for this small unit.

This increase in width provides the cockpit with good circulation space, despite the fairly wide side decks, as well as greater interior volume than the Sun Odyssey 349. This is reflected in the number and size of cupboards in the various interior layout versions.

Like its predecessor, the Sun Odyssey 350 is available with three keel versions:

- a long keel that holds 1.98 m

- a short 1.49 m keel with fins

- a version with a hydraulic lifting keel, increasing the draft to 2.54 m

In terms of sails, the Sun Odyssey is designed for cruising, mooring and port living. Everything is simple, easy to access and well dimensioned. For fathers of families looking to gain a few tenths of a knot, a performance package is available.

In terms of engines, it comes standard with a three-cylinder Yanmar 29 hp engine. A Torqueedo electric propulsion system is available, mainly for inland waterway cruising.
