BROOKFIELD Christmas came a little early this year. The American Cancer Society decked outa Brookfield home with the Christmas spirit. It is all for a goodcause.

Its just fabulous, everyone has to come and look, visitor Mary Ellen Phillips said.

Every inch of the nearly 5,000 sq. ft. home is decorated with holiday decorations. Its part of the American Cancer Societys largest fundraisers. Every visitor and ticket sale helps contribute to cancer research and services to help those fighting the illness.

Its a huge fundraiser, its the only one of its kind in the country, organizer Gail Johnson said.

There is a goal to raise $150,000.

The home has something for everyone. Around every corner there are ornaments, trees and lights.

They come in and they have this look in their eye, like a child looking at Christmas presents, Johnson said. And their eyes open up and they just go wow.

The event continues Sunday from 10 in the morning to 6 at night. Tickets are $20 at the door. For more information about the event, click here.
