Southwest Florida Luxury Home Market Gains Momentum at The Concession

Sales at The Concession, an exclusive, gated golf course community located between Sarasota and Manatee Counties, have kicked off quickly this year with 21 homesites under contract to close in the first quarter.

The strong sales pace follows a stellar year in 2013, with 32 lot closings, and the strong demand dictated a price increase on homesites this month. We continue to see increasing evidence of recovery in the luxury custom home real estate market that continues to get stronger, said Mark Bruce, director of sales at The Concession Real Estate Company. The Concessions full scale comeback really began just prior to the end of the first quarter in 2013. We are priced right and are excited to for the future of this community, said Bruce.

Two new models were recently unveiled at The Concession -- the Verona by Lee Wetherington Homes and the Amalfi, by Arthur Rutenberg Homes.

Several additional models will open this year, creating a model row at The Concession featuring other top regional builders including: Neal Signature Homes, Anchor Builders, John Cannon Homes, and Holliday Builders.

Having these leading home building companies all showcasing new models here speaks volumes about the confidence in the marketplace and the comeback of this community, said Mark Bruce.

The Concession is seeing an explosion of new home construction as well, with 15 homes currently underway, and another 10 to start in the next 90 days.
