As SCAD students, Michael and Ana Stanley lived in apartments on Peachtree Street in Midtown. Their artistic focus factored in their search for a home, as they envisioned buying a townhome with a modern look inside the Perimeter.

Meanwhile, they told their agent, Patricia Berholtz with Re/Max Metro Atlanta Cityside, that they also needed a fenced space for their pet, a pig named Pepper.

They were surprised to find that former Atlanta Braves manager Bobby Cox was the seller of the townhome they chose. When the closing took longer than expected, the couple chatted a few hours with Cox and his wife, Pam.

It was awesome meeting him since I grew up listening to Braves baseball and going to many games with my father, said Michael, 25, who works for Dragon Army, a mobile game company.
