Another area worth a visit is the Amalfi coast. We stayed at the Hotel La Bussola, which is right on the front at Amalfi, and avoids having to climb various steep walkways and steps to your Hotel as can otherwise be the case! The drive along the Amalfi coast road is breathtaking, but avoid looking out over the vertical drop to the sea if you suffer from vertigo! Of course whilst in this area, you have to visit Pompeii, and the Island of Capri.
