PortablePartitions.com, by Versare, has announced that several of their popular room dividers, privacy screens, and portable partitions are now custom-designable, offering customers an option to create or upload a design, logo, or image to be printed across the divider of their choice. The in-browser design lab allows single or double-sided partition printing, in addition to a variety of design options, such as color, font style, clipart, or image uploading.
The design lab feature can be found on a selection of customizable room dividers marked with an orange badge. Within a product's page, a customer may select "Create Your Own Design," and then pick a size. From there, they are taken to a design site, where options such as color, fonts, and clipart are selectable, in addition to an option to upload their own artwork. Anything from corporate logos to wallpaper patterns can be printed onto the fabric, allowing Versare room dividers to incorporate seamlessly into any office, home, classroom, retail store, hospital, warehouse, or anywhere else requiring a partition to divide space.
Many schools and daycares have utilized the design lab to create murals for classroom dividers, while offices have ordered partition panels with printed corporate logos. Matching wallpaper patterns have been popular design choices for home privacy screens. "With our new in-browser design lab, customers not only have the freedom to pick any color possible, but may also create patterns, designs, and upload logos to advertise their brand," states Versare president Robert Jantschek. "The possibilities are endless, and personalizing a room divider has never been easier."
Versare's room dividers and portable partition panels are built of tackable, sound-dampening acoustical fabric. The aluminum frames are both durable and lightweight, allowing for maximum portability. Partitions such as The Room Divider 360 have been popular choices for school partitions, while The Privacy Screen and Afford-A-Wall have remained top sellers as apartment room dividers for homes. The custom design option is also available on two economical, fabric privacy screens: the VP6 and VP4, providing a range of options that covers most price points.
About Versare: Versare Solutions, Inc. is a Minneapolis-based manufacturer and retailer of portable room dividers, privacy screens, partitions, barricades, and other portable products. Versare handles the manufacturing and shipping of all products directly from their MN headquarters, with most products being built in the USA. Co-founders Robert Jantschek & Jeff Ryan initially created the company to offer a more lightweight, durable, and sturdy room divider than what had previously been found on the market. Their selection of products has grown over the years to include a wide array of portable barricades, configurable office cubicle partitions, economical fabric dividers, and outdoor wicker privacy screens.

Emergency room visits have quadrupled over the last few years in Tioga.
CEO Randall Pederson says the $8.2 million dollar expansion and remodel at Tioga Medical Center was important to meeting the needs of the growing city.
The addition is now under construction which will accommodate six provider offices and 16 exam rooms.
The new construction will replace the existing clinic -- which is currently detached to the south of the hospital.
Tioga currently has one full time family practice physician and four mid-level providers.
Pederson says splitting the staff between two buildings became inefficient as demand for medical services has grown.
(Randall Pederson, CEO Tioga Medical Center) "With that many ER visits, we were having some problems with doctors having to leave the clinic to come up here and meet the patients in the emergency room. At 600 visits per year, it was a doable thing, but when it's 2400 visits a year, we just need to do something different."
A new ambulance bay is included in the new addition and the old ambulance bay will be remodeled to add two emergency exam rooms.
The hospital and nursing home are already under one roof -- and Pederson says the clinic is the 'final piece of the puzzle.'
(Randall Pederson, CEO Tioga Medical Center) "This is a major event in Tioga. This is an $8.2 million dollar addition to our facility and we feel it's needed to meet the continuing needs of the community and surrounding areas and we look forward to getting everything under one roof and take care of people."

A three-decade music teacher at the Riverdale School, Michele Szwed, will be the namesake of the music room where she dedicated so much time to students.
Szwed served as the school's music teacher from 1976 until she retired in 2012. She died on Jan. 31 of this year.
Upon Szwed's retirement, the Board of Education honored her with a special dedication. The board recently decided it would be fitting to honor her again.
"She was a long-tenured, well-respected music teacher who did wonderful things with our program, both the chorus and the band, winning many awards over the years," said school board President Shawn Dougherty.
Szwed won silver awards from the North Jersey School Music Association and National Band Association Region I in 1998, 1999, and 2002.
She received recognition at the North Jersey Music Educators Association Festival in 2003 and 2007.
In addition, she received awards in 1989, 1993, and 1995 at the North Jersey School Music Association, Concert, and Band Festival.
Szwed was credited for bringing music to district and community events over the years, such as graduations, school concerts, the holiday tree lighting ceremonies, and Veterans Day ceremonies.
"She was dedicated to her students and dedicated to her profession. She turned many nights of performances and concerts at the Riverdale School into nights of pure pleasure and enjoyment for everyone who attended," said Riverdale Councilman Steve Revis, a former school board president.
"When the music room was built with the referendum, she had a lot of input into it as well. So the music room should reflect her long-standing history in the district," said Dougherty.

Isaac Garcia,a kindergarten student, left and Madison Cote, right listen to a recording as they follow along in a book in the Reading Oasis at Blake Academy in Lakeland.
LAKELAND | Blake Academy students now have 1,200 more reasons to get excited about reading.
They came in the form of new books courtesy of Scholastic and the Kiwanis Club of Lakeland in a Reading Oasis room next to the school's media center, the first in Polk County.
"It's a relaxing, learning atmosphere," said Sybille Oldham, principal at Blake Academy, a kindergarten through eighth grade magnet school. "We are trying to give the babies every chance we can. They are our future."
The room includes several bean bag chairs, a carpet showing a tree of books, a module bench with bookshelves built in to a bench, bookshelves and a listening center with CD players, headphones and audio books in addition to the new books.
The school won the room as part of a statewide competition on Facebook, where the two schools with the most likes on their Reading oasis Facebook page got $10,000 half from Scholastic and half from the Kiwanis Club of Lakeland to create the room.
Blake placed second with more than 5,000 likes in the contest that ended in January.
"To be selected is unbelievable. They did an outstanding job. They were the only school in Polk that even applied," said Dennis Harrison, Lt. Governor of Kiwanis Club's Division 15, which includes Polk and Hardee counties.
The room is open to the community, Oldham said, and is typically open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays.
Teachers can also bring their classes to the room, which is in half of the school's computer lab, for a reading day.

SAN LEANDRO -- When Kaiser Permanente opens its new hospital on Tuesday, visitors will find a six-story building filled with work by local artists, natural-light-filled rooms and the latest medical technology.
The nonprofit health care provider is shutting down its Hayward hospital, which did not meet new state seismic safety standards, and moving its inpatient care and emergency room to a campus west of Interstate 880 near Marina Boulevard that at one time housed a grocery distribution center.
"We strove for a relaxing, comforting setting, with a site that is convenient and accessible," said Kaiser official Tom Hanenburg.
The new 435,900-square-foot hospital is designed to accommodate more patients later if needed. The top floor is vacant, and the 216-bed hospital has the capacity for 264.
All patient rooms are private, with pullout guest beds for family members. Patients are no longer just separated by a curtain in the emergency room, which has 40 individual treatment rooms.
Rooms throughout the building are larger than in the existing Hayward hospital and can accommodate several pieces of equipment and workers at the same time. Built-in automatic lifts help people in and out of beds to reduce worker injuries and increase patient safety.
Dr. Robert Greenberg showed off some of the hospital's tech features on Thursday. At the patient entrance near the emergency room, visitors can find directions to the department they're looking for on an interactive touch screen. In addition to a map, the screen has a QR code that gives them access to directions they can carry on their smartphones.
"It's technology that is patient-friendly," said Greenberg, the physician-in-chief for Kaiser Permanente Southern Alameda County.
When patients are checked in, they are given keyboards that control large, flat panels. They can choose their meals, check messages, see what tests they will be getting, access health information and view TV shows or movies.
"This has more stations than I get on my TV at home," Greenberg said.
