Homeowners can take advantage of this years reinvigorated housing market and rock bottom interest rates by investing in their own homes, says industry expert Shawn Sweetin, owner of Reliable Restoration & Remodeling in Paso Robles, CA.
It's been in the news, on television, and in print: the housing market on the Central Coast of California has rebounded dramatically this year and optimism here is high.
Marsha Willingham of Exclusively San Luis reported that, "More than 82 percent of the homes sold locally in May were resale single-family homes." She went on to comment, "The single-family homes median price grew 12.1 percent to $435,500."
This rise in the median housing price has not been short lived; in fact, its been tracked on a consistent rise for the past 13 months. The smart homebuyer or seller realizes that now is the time to take advantage of the housing market.
"One great way to profit off of the rebounding housing industry is to increase the value of your home first by investing in a remodel or home restoration," says Shawn Sweetin.
Reliable Restoration & Remodeling offers a variety of renovations in Paso Robles. The company's services range from kitchen, bath, and landscape remodeling to regular maintenance, and even emergency repair.
RR&Rs staff, headed by Sweetin, is extremely knowledgeable and understands the value of a well constructed and maintained home. "We have been doing home and landscape remodels in the San Luis Obispo County for the past 17 years," says Sweetin.
"The buzz around the housing market on the Central Coast this year is really exciting. We love the process of working with clients to construct improvement ideas that directly improve the value, longevity, and aesthetic of a home."
RR&R looks forward to the growth that the housing market has enjoyed and what it means for homeowners who are looking to get the most out of a remodel to increase their homes value. RR&R focuses on getting homeowners the most bang for their buck. "Exterior remodels have proven to provide the most return on investment, because the projects benefit the curb appeal of a home," said Sweetin. The outer appearance of a home can make, or break, the first impression.

Terrence Parker hangs his head while a wayward minivan sits in the basement of his store Tuesday July 16, 2013 in Homewood. The van crashed into his building, that he was remodeling along North Lang Avenue, early Tuesday morning. The three female occupants of the van fled following the crash.

The minivan that crashed into a Homewood building and plunged into its basement early Tuesday destroyed Terrance Parker's remodeling plans.
Now, it's pretty much over, Parker said. The city condemned the building.
Parker said he started working on the building on North Lang Avenue and Idlewild Street last year with the goal of turning it into a convenience store.
There was a problem with funding, so we slowed up, Parker said. I've never been in this type of situation. I'm kind of losing hope, but I'm trying not to.
The minivan crashed through the boarded-up building and into the basement about 1:40 a.m., Pittsburgh police spokeswoman Diane Richard said. No one from the vehicle was there when police arrived, but Zone 5 Lt. Reyne Kacsuta said officers later found two of the three people believed to have been in the vehicle, including a woman hospitalized with minor injuries.
The driver has not been found, Richard said. Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
They'll be tearing it down in the morning, Parker said. It's a hazard, plus they have to get the van out of the basement.

Sunset Builders recently redesigned its website, making it easy for users to learn about its home remodeling services and eco-friendly construction in New Hampshire. The website can be found at http://www.sunsetbuild.com.
Owner Rick Martin decided to redesign the website because he wanted to showcase the diverse services that Sunset Builders offers.
We do everything from installing a new kitchen floor to building a custom-made home from the ground up, said Martin. Whether youre looking for a new look or a major redesign, our website is the perfect place to begin.
In addition to offering traditional remodeling services, Sunset Builders is also looking to the future by spearheading new ways to promote sustainable living.
Weve designed a solar garage that produces enough energy to provide hot water, power, and 80 percent of the electric and heating needs of a 2,600 square-foot home, said Martin. This net-zero home is one of the best steps to enjoy eco-friendly living.
Sunset Builders also offers several smaller green home solutions such as installing energy-efficient windows and buying locally made construction products.
When it comes to sustainable living, no step is too small, said Martin. From using recycled products to installing solar panels, we can help make any home more environmentally friendly.
Consumers can find information about Sunset Builders remodeling and construction services on the website. However, the website isnt the only way to stay connected with Sunset Builders. The redesign also features links to Facebook, Twitter, and Google+. These social media gateways give users even more updates about events, promotions, and company news. Additionally, consumers can find more ideas about eco-friendly living and other home improvement projects on the websites new blog.
To build the website, Sunset Builders enlisted the help of The Web Guys, a website design company in Indiana. The Web Guys specialize in building custom websites for companies nationwide.
