WASHINGTON, May 27 (UPI) --Conservative activist Samuel Wurzelbacher, better known as Joe the Plumber, wrote an open letter to the parents of the victims of the Isla Vista shooting saying that their children's deaths do not trump his constitutional right to bear arms.
After Elliot Rodger killed six people and injured others on Friday, Richard Martinez, who lost his son Christopher, lashed out in a passionate statement directed at politicians and the NRA for preventing gun control legislation.
"Why did Chris die? Chris died because of craven irresponsible politicians and the NRA," Martinez said. "They talk about gun rights. What about Chris's right to live? When will this insanity stop? When will enough people say 'Stop this madness, we don't have to live like this?' Too many have died. We should say to ourselves, not one more."
This has given new spark to the gun control debate only four days after the shooting. Wurzelbacher decided to also join the debate Thursday in an open letter to the victims parents published in Barbwire.
"I am sorry you lost your child. I myself have a son and daughter and the one thing I never want to go through, is what you are going through now. But: As harsh as this sounds -- your dead kids don't trump my Constitutional rights."
He went on to say that even though the shooting was a tragedy, he believes the protection of his second amendment rights is more important.
"We still have the Right to Bear Arms and I intend to continue to speak out for that right, and against those who would restrict it -- even in the face of this horrible incident by this sad and insane individual."
He also said that Rodger is most likely an Obama voter and liberals do not care about their families.
"They don't care about your family or your dead children at all. They sound like they do, whereas I sound uncaring and like I say, harsh. Don't be fooled -- I care about your family and mine. The future of our very liberty lies in the balance of this fight."

No doubt having noticed it had been quite some time since anyone paid him any attention whatsoever, pseudo-celebrity and all-around political crank Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher (Joe the Plumber) recently penned an open letter to the grieving parents of those killed by Elliot Rodger, informing them that he feels sorry and all about their children being murdered but that he still has a constitutional right to play with guns.
I am sorry you lost your child, Plumber writes to the open letters unspecified recipient (which is almost certainly intended to be Richard Martinez). I myself have a son and daughter and the one thing I never want to go through, is what you are going through now.
But, Plumber adds, [a]s harsh as this sounds your dead kids dont trump my Constitutional rights.
After granting that criticizing the words of a grieving father is a totally dickish thing to do that no one should do because its terrible, Plumber laments that Martinezs comments about how the NRA and spineless politicians are partially to blame for his childs gun-related murder will be exploited by gun-grab extremists as are all tragedies involving gun violence and the mentally ill by the anti-Second Amendment Left.
Still, Plumber writes, it is my responsibility to protect my family. Steeled by his fearless dedication to principle, Plumber writes that he will stand up for that right vehemently. For the sake of protecting his family, you see.
Ultimately, Plumber writes, Martinez and other parents who are upset about their children being murdered because of gun violence need to back off lest they give comfort to those who want to further regulate the use of firearms. Plumber continues:
[Gun safety proponents] dont care about your family or your dead children at all. They sound like they do, whereas I sound uncaring and like I say, harsh. Dont be fooled I care about your family and mine. The future of our very liberty lies in the balance of this fight.
In conclusion, I cannot begin to imagine the pain you are going through, having had your child taken away from you. However, any feelings you have toward my rights being taken away from me, lose those.

Samuel Joe the Plumber Wurzelbacherhas a message for the families of the six victims killed during Elliot Rodgers bloody rampage through Isla Vista, California: Your dead kids dont trump my constitutional rights.
Mr. Wurzelbacher a former Republican House candidate who became a mascot for the Republican Party during the 2008 presidential race after he confronted President Obama about small business taxes penned an open letter on Memorial Day, which he posted on his Joe For America website, titled To the parents of the victims murdered by Elliot Rodger.

The father of two began his letter by saying hes sorry to the families for their loss.
I myself have a son and daughter and the one thing I never want to go through, is what you are going through now, he writes. But [a]s harsh as this sounds your dead kids dont trump my constitutional rights.
As a father, husband and a man, it is my responsibility to protect my family. I will stand up for that right vehemently. Please believe me, as a father I share your grief and I will pray for you and your family, as I do whenever I hear about senseless tragedies such as this, he continued.
His comments come after Richard Martinez, father of one of the victims, told reporters on Sunday that he blamed politicians and the National Rifle Association for his sons death. The murders have prompted calls from several Democrats, including Sens. Richard Blumenthal and Dianne Feinstein, for more gun control legislation.
We still have the Right to Bear Arms, Mr. Wurzelbacher wrote, and I intend to continue to speak out for that right and against those who would restrict it even in the face of this horrible incident by this sad and insane individual. I almost said Obama Voter but Im waiting for it to be official.
In conclusion, I cannot begin to imagine the pain you are going through, having had your child taken away from you. However, any feelings you have toward my rights being taken away from me, lose those, he said.

Richard Martinez, the father of Santa Barbara shooting victim Christopher Michael-Martinez, gave an emotional interview to CNN yesterday, slamming the politicians who have failed to pass stricter gun control laws.
According to RawStory.com, Martinez mentioned the inaction of lawmakers since the 2012 elementary school massacre in Newtown, Conn. (video below).
"Have we learned nothing? These things are going to continue until somebody does something," Martinez told CNN. "So where the hell is the leadership? Where the hell are these people we elect to congress that we spend so much money on? These people are getting rich sitting in Congress, and what do they do? They don't take care of our kids. My kid died because nobody responded to what happened at Sandy Hook."
In response, Samuel Wurzelbacher (aka Joe The Plumber) wrote an unsolicited, open letter to Martinez and the other families who lost loved ones during the shooting spree last Friday night by Elliot Rodger, whom Wurzelbacher suggested was an "Obama voter."
Wurzelbacher lectured the grieving families on BarbWire.com:
I am sorry you lost your child. I myself have a son and daughter and the one thing I never want to go through, is what you are going through now.
As harsh as this sounds your dead kids dont trump my Constitutional rights.
Richard Martinez, whose son (Christopher) was among the murdered, choked back tears at a news conference, blaming politicians the next day: The talk about gun rights. What about Chris right to live? Martinez said and much more.
There are no critical words for a grieving father. He can say whatever he wants and blame whoever hed like its okay by me. You cant take a step in his shoes at least I cant.
But the words and images of Mr. Martinez blaming the proliferation of guns, lobbyists, politicians, etc., will be exploited by gun-grab extremists as are all tragedies involving gun violence and the mentally ill by the anti-Second Amendment Left.

Rachel Lyne was forced to move 350miles to a new home to escape a stream of men knocking on her door expecting sex
A cheating plumber and his ex-wife set up hundreds of fake online profiles claiming his ex-lover was a prostitute.
Rachel Lyne, 48, suffered a seven-year hate campaign as a result of her four-week fling with Richard Holman, a court has heard.
She was even forced to move 350miles from her home to start a new life to escape the steady stream of men knocking on her door expecting sex.
Richard, 45, and Amanda Holman, who are now divorced, have been jailed after being found guilty of harassment.
The court heard how Rachel's parents and neighbours received letters alleging she was a prostitute, a drug dealer and a benefit cheat and on one occasion her pet dog went missing, only to be found 400 miles away.
Rachel later discovered hundreds of fake online dating and sex profiles had been set up in her name.
She said the couple had "destroyed every little aspect of my life."
"It's gone on for seven years of my life," she said,
"I had to move from one end of the country to another. It destroyed my relationship with my parents.
