PENNSYLVANIA Polls have closed in Pennsylvania in the Nov.3 general election, with Tuesday being the culmination of days of early and absentee voting a shift seen across the country due to the coronavirus pandemic.
With voting now officially over, Pennsylvanians and voters across the country are waiting to see who wins the state's 20 electoral college votes: Republican President Donald J. Trump or Democratic challenger and former Vice President Joe Biden.
It's unclear exactly when the unofficial vote count will be complete, but Gov. Wolf said that results "probably" will not be available Tuesday.
"On Tuesday night and the day that follows, I encourage all of us to take a deep breath, and just stay calm," Gov. Wolf said. "We will have a fair election."
Wolf expects the final tally to be available within a few days. Unofficial results are due at the latest by Nov. 10, Pennsylvania Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar said. Thursday, Nov. 12 is the deadline to declare a recount, if a recount is needed. A recount will be automatically initiated if the race is within 0.5 percentage points, unless the losing candidate waives that right by Wednesday, Nov. 11.
The final deadline for official election results in Pennsylvania is Nov. 23.
Wolf noted that in the past, unofficial election results were known for many races by 8:01 or 8:02 p.m. "That ain't gonna happen this time," he said the week before Election Day.
In Pennsylvania, mail-in ballots are not allowed to be counted prior to Election Day, meaning clerks will be working late into the night. A record number of more than 9 million Pennsylvanians registered heading into the 2020 election, with a record 3.02 million voting by mail-in ballots.
A ruling from the Supreme Court in the week before Election Day upheld the three-day delay in counting ballots, meaning that ballots received as late as Nov. 6 can still be counted.
Voters in Pennsylvania were urged to hand deliver their ballots up to a week before Election Day to ensure they would be counted.
Of course it's not just the presidential election results that residents across the Keystone State are awaiting.
Dozens of state legislature and state senatorial races are up for grabs, as well as numerous seats in U.S. Congress.

window door installation
TORONTO (PRWEB) October 30, 2020
Established as one of the leading locksmith companies in the GTA, FC Locksmith decided to provide an even more complete package of services to its customers by entering the business of window and door installations as well as door repairs.
Increasing security, restoring security, doing everything in our power to quickly address problems with keys and locks have always been main goals in our company, explain the owner of FC Locksmith, Eran Gurvich. After all, we run a locksmith Toronto company; the higher security possible is the ultimate goal of all services. Naturally, even the best high-security locks cannot do much to prevent some form of break-in if the door is hollow, broken, rotten. That concept led us to our latest decision; that of entering the field of door and window services.
According to the official Canadian crime rates, the break and enter cases are thousands annually. Burglaries and home invasions have become a real threat, a full-time, lucrative business according to the police, while there are also organized and gang-break-ins. Crime tourism is booming too. Burglars visit from other countries to break-in.
Burglars simply walk to the back of the residence and try a window or the sliding patio door. Many burglaries happen due to unlocked doors and windows. But the majority of break-ins is made possible due to the use of force. The burglars pick or break locks, kick doors, vandalize windows, and damage strikes.
The doors and the windows must be as strong and kick-proof as the locks, says Eran Gurvich. Spending money on good locks when the windows and the doors all entry doors, the back, the side, the patio, and the front door, are of poor quality is not right. It's the combination of things that makes a difference. All entry doors and windows in a home must be strong and resistant, but also well-installed. This is where we come in with our new services. We don't only know all about locks but also ensure the excellent windows installation and doors. Let me ask you this. What's the point of having a good lock if the door or the window is rotten? And what's the point of getting a durable window or door if it's not installed correctly?
The official 2013 Canadian burglary statistics revealed that only 31% of crimes are reported. A house burglarized once is 12 times likely that it will be broken into again. Burglaries cause depression, sleeping problems, and post-traumatic stress disorder. In the 5-year period of 2008-2012, 1 out of 34 houses in the city of Toronto alone was burglarized. If we add the monetary consequences, the emotional effects and the fact that NOT all break-ins are reported, the actual risks are not only high but also come with terrible repercussions.
There's a solution. It's not absolute. It doesn't signify the end of crime. Break-ins always occurred and will continue to occur but the fewer the incidents, the better. And if you think that a properly installed window, door repairs, professional entry and patio door installations combined with good locks will lead this way, it's actually an easy first step. A dynamic step, we as a locksmith company, have proudly taken in an attempt to ensure even higher security, better solutions to our customers, concluded Gurvich.

Welcome to Bear Creek, a home of true custom craftsmanship with furniture-grade finishes, cabinetry and built-ins. This hideaway is minutes from all the Mount Washington Valley has to offer.
Located in Bartlett within five minutes of Attitash Bear Peak Ski Area, the White Mountain National Forest and the Saco River, this is the ultimate in very private mountain living.
The beveled glass doors of enclosed entry look out to a stone fountain and bench. As you walk the beautiful grounds reminiscent of Tuscany, enjoy quiet sitting areas in delightful gardens. A year-round brook winds through the property and under a walking bridge. Enter the gated entry and through the wooded drive, you come to a stunning home with beautiful grounds, a cascading waterfall and 17 acres with trails to walk, snowshoe or cross-country ski.
The quality finishes and design are striking. Each detail is custom made to owners exacting standards. The home has fine woods with quarter sawn mahogany floors in the main level living areas and marble tile in the kitchen. The doors and trim, imported from Turkey, are bubinga wood, which has a beautiful grain and color and is used in fine furniture and cabinetwork.
The home centers around a love of beauty, good food and fine wine, with a professional kitchen that would be the envy of most restaurants. The six burner gas stove has a 24-inch griddle and a double oven. Designed for cooking with friends and family there is excellent storage and abundant counterspace so everyone can chip in and help on the large granite topped island. The breakfast bar has room for six hungry guests who can offer wanted and unwanted cooking advice. The wood-fired round pizza oven, made by EarthStone in California, is perfect for pizza parties or bread baking. A traditional wood-burning oven, it is not only functional, but beautiful with a tiled exterior with a vineyard theme. When you entertain and everyone wants to hang out in the kitchen, youll be ready.
The dining room focal point is a large temperature-controlled glass enclosed wine cellar designed with two sections; 1,000 bottle capacity for red and 1,000 bottle capacity for white. The stone fireplace with a motorized rotisserie with three different levels can handle a pig roast. To the right of the fireplace is a door to a wood storage area with access to the outside so you dont bring the firewood through the house. There is a beautiful arched double door out to the patio for summer dining.
Off the dining room and living room there is an expansive patio with a built-in bar, a large TEC grill, draft beer system, granite counters and a pizza oven.
The living room, located in the center of the open living area, is the perfect place to relax and enjoy. The custom made chandelier was made in Italy to highlight the ceiling design. Sit by the fire and plan your next hike.
The luxurious master suite features one of the three Rumford fireplaces in the house, access to the patio and a balcony overlooking the gardens. Relax in the hand painted soaking tub or shower in the oversized walk-in open shower with multiple shower heads (10). The double walk-in closets, one with a washer and dryer, are handsome as well as well organized. Its a relaxing retreat from the world.
Also on the main level, is a beautiful den with a balcony and a small library office with mahogany built-ins and a second elegant bedroom with arched doors to the front and another to the balcony overlooking the gardens. The bathroom has a large shower and walk-in tub.
Off the kitchen is the entry from the attached three-car garage with radiant floor heat, a huge plus year-round, but a boon in our White Mountain winters.
The spacious walk-out lower level is accessed by a lovely stairway in one of the front turrets or by the elevator that holds three. The third bedroom of the home is part of a guest suite with the large bedroom, a blue themed tiled bath with an over-sized steam shower, footed soaking tub and a sitting room with a wet bar and access out to the lower level patio and hot tub.
In the pub, highlighted by a copper ceiling, a Rumford fireplace with a rose marble mantel and double doors to the patio, its time for aprs-ski or move into the theater room with six large theater recliners with built-in sound.
Once you leave the living area, head into the 30-by-30-foot workshop or workout room. Off the workshop, there is a storage closet below the living room turret and another large storage closet. The utility room has two Buderus boilers that alternate one day at a time. Each boiler can heat the entire house, but they alternate for redundancy. There are two oil tanks, electrical panels, the radiant heating tubing, the panel for the whole house generator and the sound system controls.
There is a walk-in cedar closet, a sauna and a wrapping paper workstation, a second utility room with two large water heaters and a water softener system.
With all this beauty and functionality, its an awesine property in a great location. With nearby Attitash and a short drive to Wildcat, Cranmore or Bretton Woods, this is the perfect ski get-away or year round home.

Southern Charm is a reality show that focuses on the lives of a bunch of socialites from Charleston, South Carolina. The estates and properties owned by the families have a rich history; many of them used to be plantations. The series gives us a peek into the modern-day lives of aristocrats and a little political history of Charleston. What makes it so interesting, is the dramatic interpersonal dynamics between the cast members.
Over the years, the cast has seen a lot of changes, especially in the seventh season.Cameran Eubanks, Naomie Olindo, Chelsea Meissner, and Eliza Limehouse stepped out after the sixth season. The show continues season 7 with Madison LeCroy, Austen Kroll, Shep Rose, John Pringle, Craig Conover, Kathryn Calhoun Dennis, and her friend Leva Bonaparte. Let us not keep you waiting and take you through the beautiful locations that feature in the series!
Apart from focusing on the lives of the socialites, Southern Charm also features some historical landmarks like the Lewisfield Plantation and the Isaac Jenkins Mikell House. The filming for the seventh season was on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic but eventually resumed with a few changes. If you are wondering where the series is filmed, we have got you covered.
When the filming for the seventh season resumed, most of it comprised video chats, outdoor scenes, or filming through patio doors to ensure everyones safety. But the grand properties that are a part of Southern Charm are one of the main aspects of the show, albeit having a controversial past involving slavery.
One of the most well-known and historic plantations belong to Patricia Altschul, which is the Isaac Jenkins Mikell House. Built in 1850 by a wealthy cotton planter, this estate is a regular feature on Southern Charm. Patricia is known for the incredible parties she throws, although there isnt one in season 7.
You may also remember polo matches from season 4 and season 5, which were filmed at Brookland Plantation on Edisto Island. It was an indigo plantation from the early 1800s and was owned by many people before it became Thomas Ravenels place. We see the Airy Hall Plantation in the sixth season, which belongs to Eliza Limehouses family. Another historical landmark of Charleston is the Lewisfield Plantation, where Kathryn Calhoun Dennis grew up.
One of the filming locations from the seventh season made headlines with strong reactions from the viewers. Its the site of the removal of John C. Calhouns statue. Some of the Southern Charm cast members happened to be present during the protests and were filming while they were there. Kathryn Calhoun Dennis also happens to be a direct descendant of John C. Calhoun, who was a slave owner.

The Old Forge is marked on the first-edition Ordnance Survey map from the 1830s in rather a solitary spot, with only the Glencullen Standing Stone and Glencullen House for company. The house has neighbours now, but still has long views away to Glencullen Valley and the Sugar Loaf. It has been tastefully restored and extended to 2,217 sq ft, with four bedrooms (one with ensuite shower and walk-in wardrobe). By way of living rooms, theres a TV room with a vaulted ceiling and exposed granite walls, plus an open-plan kitchen/dining/family room with patio doors.
Theres a footpath cutting out of the Corbawn Wood estate to join Corbawn Lane, which means No153 is less than 500 metres from Shankill Beach and the Dart station. The house was extended in 2004 to 1,291 sq ft, but theres room to do more in the back garden as its 50ft long and backs on to the railway line. The extension has made for an open-plan kitchen, dining room and family room at the back, with a wall of windows giving on to the garden, which also has a garden room. Theres also a ground-floor living room and four upstairs bedrooms.
Rockbrook Hall is a tiny, recently-built enclave of just three houses, one of which (No1) is a bungalow, and its just at the entrance to the cul de sac. Its 1,518 sq ft, all on one floor, with the main living area to the left as you go in, on the southwest-facing elevation of the house. It consists of one open-plan living room, dining room and kitchen, triple-aspect and with a wood-burning stove and patio doors. The kitchen is fitted in white high-gloss and granite and theres a separate utility room. Right of the hall, there are three bedrooms, two ensuite and one with a walk-in wardrobe as well.
