Thirteen companies in Madison, WI, were named local winners in the 2013 Contractor of the Year Awards in several categories. Twenty-one projects in total were submitted to the awards panel totaling $2,406,781.79 in remodeling value. The awards are held as an annual competition by the National Association of the Remodeling Industry, known as NARI.
Hundreds of contractors apply for the Kitchen Remodeling Contractor of the Year in Madison WI Awards on an annual basis. All projects submitted for judging were an improvement or an addition to an existing structure; new construction projects were not eligible. Judging for the kitchen remodeling awards took place in Milwaukee, WI, between July 1, 2013 and October 4, 2013. Judges consisted of a panel of remodeling industry experts and scores were based on entrants before and after photos, project descriptions, problem solving, craftsmanship, innovation and entry presentation.
Tony Trapp Remodeling and Repairs was awarded their kitchen remodeling trophy at the 2013 Celebrating Excellence Awards hosted in Madison, WI, on November 8, 2013. The Celebrating Excellence Awards are considered to be the premier event of the kitchen remodeling industry.
