Real Housewives of Cheshire star Dawn Ward has opened the doors to her 12m mansion and given us a tour.

It boasts a princess-themed bedroom, hair and nail salon, games room and cinema and you can take a tour in the video below.

Dawn, 41, who runs one of Britains top interior design companies with husband Ashley, the ex-Manchester City striker, speaking to our sister paper The Mirror, said: I dont need to prove myself to anyone. Youll always get people stereotyping you. But actually all the WAGs are quite hot and cool, so at my age Im pretty pleased.

Ive always wanted to make my own money. As a little girl, Id look at magazines and think, I want that I want to be successful and have nice things. As an only child I was very independent I believe you can always get what you want if you have your health and work hard enough.

Ive always worked, Ive always been entrepreneurial. I dont want to rely on anyone, ever. Fortunately I met my soulmate weve been together 26 years, and hes the love of my life. But I dont want to think 10 years down the line, How much can I get from him? From the day we met, weve had a 50:50 relationship and split absolutely everything.

The mum of four who, when not being mistaken for Elizabeth Hurley (shes a good-looking woman I take that as a compliment) is starring in ITVBe reality show The Real Housewives Of Cheshire.

With a company turnover in millions and a staff of 40 she isnt doing it for the money. Nor is it the kind of show her clients billionaire Russians and British celebrities are likely to watch. Dawn just wants to raise her brands profile and secure the future for her four daughters.

Not that they need much help. Darby, 19, is a junior international showjumper who has captained her country. Taylor, 17, has model looks and got all As and A*s in her GCSEs.

The Director of Public Prosecutions is appealing against the 18-year jail sentence handed to the man who murdered well-known interior designer Stuart Rattle, saying it was manifestly inadequate.

Michael O'Neill, known as the "The Talented Mr Ripley" because of the way he constantly lied, was jailed on February 11 for 18 years with a non-parole period of 13 years for killing his long-time partner.

Supreme Court Justice Elizabeth Hollingworth found O'Neill, 48, had been in a "fragile psychological state" when he hit Mr Rattle over the head with a saucepan at the couple's South Yarra apartment at 6am on December 4, 2013, before strangling him with a dog lead as he begged for his life.

O'Neill claimed he snapped after Mr Rattle, 53, called him a "frigid bitch" for refusing to have sex with him that morning.

He placed Mr Rattle's body inside a large furniture bag and left it on their bed for the rest of the week as he went about his normal routine before returning on Sunday night, December 8, to set fire to the apartment.

Chief Crown prosecutor Gavin Silbert, SC, said O'Neill, who pleaded guilty to charges of murder and arson, had killed Mr Rattle to try to cover up his incompetence, which had been threatening to bankrupt the interior designer's business.

O'Neill had been responsible for accounts, quoting, invoicing and ordering stock for clients.

AN INTERIOR designer from the South West has been awarded the title Businesswoman of the Year and now has her sights set on achieving national industry accolades.

Louise Mitchell, owner of Idesign Interiors, was awarded the Vickie Brett Memorial Award for Businesswoman of the Year in the Weston Business Awards 2015.

She and her business partner Adam Wood, were also highly commended by judges for Outstanding Customer Service within the Weston Business Improvement District.

Idesign Interiors specialises in designing and installing quality bespoke kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms and interiors across the South West region.

One of their renowned creations is the interior design of one of Weston-super-Mare's most iconic structures, Tutto Restaurant, which sits proudly on the resorts seafront.

Idesign has been operating for four years in the High Street and this is Louise's first industry award, but she says she now feels inspired to further raise her goals and aspirations.

Louise adds that she has come a long way since starting out back in secondary school producing hand rendered images from plan for local kitchen companies as pocket money.

She said: "I feel honoured to have won the award particularly as nearly 300 different businesses were nominated across the eight award categories.

"The Businesswoman of the Year title is a memorial award, which is very personal and I feel extremely proud to have been nominated by customers and the community as a whole.
