VB has enlisted the (pricey) services of celeb interior designer pal Kelly Hoppen to mastermind the house refurb and give it a calm feel

Having settled into a lavish 20million West London pad and enrolled her three sons in a fancy 15,000-a-year school, Victoria Beckham is now giving her familys new digs a poshover.

My spies tell me VB has enlisted the (pricey) services of celeb interior designer pal Kelly Hoppen to mastermind the house refurb and give it a calm feel.

The modern property, which has been described as James Bond-style thanks to its state-of-the-art security and impressive mod cons, currently has a bachelor pad vibe.

Mum-of-four Victoria, 38, is keen to replace it with her signature chic polish and add a feminine touch. David and the boys will love that.

Kelly, 53, whose A-list clientele includes Elton John and Frank Lampard and Christine Bleakley, has been spotted at the house several times over the past month overseeing furniture deliveries.

Diane Beck is hoping all that time she has spent in various kitchens and living rooms over the past few years will pay off.

Beck, owner of Vibrant Interiors, is one of 10 real estate stagers and re-designers nationwide vying for Best Redesign recognition by the Real Estate Staging Association.

The Valley Springs, Calif.-based association is the trade association for professional real estate stagers and redesigners.

Seeing your vision come together thats the best part of it, Beck says of interior design, a craft she took up full time only five years ago. I get to see everything come together and flow together. A new color or a certain tile can make a difference.

Its exciting to make that come to life.

Winners will be announced during the groups annual Home Staging Industry Awards convention from Jan. 31 to Feb. 2 in Foster City, Calif., says Shell Brodnax, president/CEO of the Real Estate Staging Association.

Beck, an interior designer from Penn Township, Butler County, says having a comforting and warm layout for your home isnt just a thing to do when you put your home on the market.

Property owners can keep the insides of their homes inviting all year round, most times for a lower cost than they think, she says.

On paper, Beck seemed more destined for a career in public relations or advertising, having graduated from LaRoche College with a business and marketing degree.

Butler County interior designer vies for national spotlight

The famous French interior designer passed away at her home in Paris.

Internationally acclaimed interior designer Andre Putman was well known for her work designing boutique interiors for some of the biggest names in fashion, including Yves Saint Laurent, Guerlain and Karl Lagerfeld. She helped coin the concept of the boutique hotel, has a skyscraper in Hong Kong named after her, and designed some of the most gorgeous stores for luxury goods in her career, which spanned close to seven decades. Putman designed several apartments for Lagerfeld, including ones in Rome, Monte Carlo and Paris. He describes the late designer as, very French, impeccable, very clean, like herself. She was flawless. She was very amusing, her way of talking, she was a real character, he recalls. When she saw something beautiful, she would say to die for.

The designer died in her home on Saturday, Jan. 19. She was 87 years old. Born in Paris on Dec. 23, 1925, Putman studied music at the citys conservatory and was raised in a wealthy home that celebrated the arts. While she excelled as a pianist, she decided to take a position as a messenger at the womens magazine, Femina, where she began to gravitate toward the world of design. In the 1960s and 1970s she discovered the art scene and met and married art dealer Jacques Putman but it was after her divorce that she truly came into her own.

Putman established her own design firm, Ecart, in 1978. In addition to her work with high-profile designers, she also redesigned the interior of the Concorde jet and a slew of modern boutique hotels and apartments around the world. Her work includes a 31-story skyscraper in Hong Kong, appropriately named The Putman. The driven designer launched her interior design company, Studio Putman, in 1997. Her daughter Olivia has been art director since 2007. She became a style ambassador in spite of herself she just did her own thing, she would never have claimed such a role, Olivia says of her late mother.

The designers funeral will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 23 at 2PM the Eglise Saint-Germain-des-Prs in Paris. She is survived by her daughter, Olivia, and her son, Cyrille.

Victoria Beckham has apparently hired a celebrity interior designer to transform her new 20 million London home.

The singer-turned-fashion designer recently returned to the UK after her soccer star husband Davids contract with Los Angeles Galaxy ended. Victoria and David, along with their four children, are now settling into a lavish property in West London.

It has been reported that Victoria wants Kelly Hoppen to give the house a makeover and turn it into a chic and harmonious home.

Victoria loves Kellys taste and knows she can trust her to do the best job, a source told British newspaper The Mirror. Kelly is well known for working with block, neutral colours shades of beige, cream, white and grey and creating a calming, harmonious atmosphere.

Kelly also pays huge attention to detail to create just the right relaxing ambience.

Interior designer to the stars Kelly is renowned for her neutral colour schemes and elegant ideas. The creative award-winner has worked with a host of big names including Sir Elton John, and Victoria previously hired Kelly to renovate her Los Angeles mansion. She has also helped to design backdrops for Victorias fashion shows.

Victoria is hoping Kelly can help bring some of the elements from her LA home to her London residence, as she wants clean lines and feminine touches.

At the moment, the property is believed to have more of a bachelor pad feel, boasting a series of gadgets and state-of-the-art security.

David is yet to confirm which club he will play for next, but has received offers from countries all over Europe, as well as China, Russia and South Africa.
