Featuring rolling-code technology, the Skylink SC-1000 Complete Wireless Alarm System provides maximum security and reduces the likelihood of false alarms. Suitable for homes, offices, 24-hour stores, businesses, or wherever security is a concern, this all-in-one system offers a 100-foot operating range, installs in minutes, and requires no monitoring services or fees. Reliable, Cutting-Edge System Uses Trouble-Free Wireless Connections Keep your home or business safe and secure with this reliable, cutting-edge wireless security system. The SC-1000 utilizes innovative technology with trouble-free wireless connections to provide security, making it a great choice for protecting against intruders and safeguarding in case of an accident, fire, flood, or other emergency.
Do-it-Yourself Security Eliminates the Need for Monitoring Fees The SC-1000 is a do-it-yourself system, which means you can easily install it yourself and then use it without paying monitoring fees or registering with an alarm company. To arm or disarm, you simply enter your personal code or use the keychain transmitter.
Rolling-Code Technology for Maximum Security and Fewer False Alarms
Motion, Door, and Window Sensors for Reliable Emergency Protection The SC-1000 comes complete with a motion sensor and two door/window sensors--enough coverage for small- to medium-sized homes. Because it works in conjunction with up to 30 Skylink security accessories, including Dial Alert, Alarm Detector Sensor, and Flood Sensor, this system can be customized to suit your needs and can be expanded to accommodate larger spaces or businesses that require a higher level of protection. If any sensors are triggered when the system is armed, the included 110dB siren will make a piercing sound, and the sensor will immediately send a wireless signal to the system's dialer.
Automatically Calls for Help in an Emergency In case of an emergency, the SC-1000 follows a straightforward process to make sure you get the help you need. When you receive the system, you can program the emergency dialer to call up to nine different phone numbers, including your cellular phone, a pager, your doctor, relatives, friends, neighbors, etc., should something trigger one of the sensors. You'll also record a personal 40-second emergency message. In case of emergency, the system's dialer will automatically dial the number or numbers you have entered. Once the recipient picks up the phone, the emergency dialer will play your prerecorded message and inform the recipient that you are in an emergency situation and that help should be sent right away.
Lighted Keypad and Low-Battery Indicator for Easy Operation Offering simple and straightforward operation, the SC-1000 features a lighted keypad that is easy to read in dark conditions and offers Chime, Instant, and Delay modes. It runs on AC power with nine-volt alkaline battery backup (battery included), and provides a helpful low-battery indicator to prevent a loss of power.
What's in the Box Alarm with control panel (SC-001); one motion sensor (PS-434A); two door/window sensors (WT-433); one keychain transmitter (4B-434); one emergency dialer (AD-433S); two adapters; three nine-volt alkaline batteries; three 12-volt alkaline batteries; phone line; instruction manual; and warranty card.
This kit includes everything you need to guard a medium-sized home. Add up to 30 Skylink accessories for full, customized protection of larger spaces.

After crushing the Muslim Brotherhood at home, Egypt's military rulers plan to undermine the Palestinian militant group Hamas (pic), which runs the neighbouring Gaza Strip, senior Egyptian security officials told Reuters.
The aim, which the officials say could take years to pull off, includes working with Hamas's political rivals Fatah and supporting popular anti-Hamas activities in Gaza, four security and diplomatic officials said.
Since it seized power in Egypt last summer, Egypt's military has squeezed Gaza's economy by destroying most of the 1,200 tunnels used to smuggle food, cars and weapons to the coastal enclave, which is under an Israeli blockade.
Now Cairo is becoming more ambitious in its drive to eradicate what it says are militant organisations that threaten its national security.
Intelligence operatives, with help from Hamas's political rivals and activists, plan to undermine the credibility of Hamas, which seized control of Gaza in 2007 after a brief civil war against the Fatah movement led by Western-backed Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
According to the Egyptian officials, Hamas will face growing resistance by activists who will launch protests similar to those in Egypt that have led to the downfall of two presidents since the Arab Spring in 2011. Cairo plans to support such protests in an effort to cripple Hamas.
"Gaza is next," said one senior security official, who requested anonymity because of the sensitivity of the issue. "We cannot get liberated from the terrorism of the Brotherhood in Egypt without ending it in Gaza, which lies on our borders."
Asked why Egyptian intelligence is not going after Hamas now, another senior security official said: "Their day will come."
Egypt accuses Hamas of backing al Qaeda-linked militant groups which have stepped up attacks against security forces in Egypt's Sinai peninsula over the past few months. The attacks have spread to Cairo and other cities.

Wireless security systems are popular nowadays especially with tech-savvy offices and families. From fathers who are always online with their tablets to children on smartphones, anything wireless has easily become the optimal service or product of the modern family. Offices also prefer the wireless setup for their security since most of their staff use remote or mobile technology.
This is why SecuritySystemReviews.com has come out with their list of the best wireless security systems for 2014. The list features the best security companies who know the challenges and intruders that clients can face in the coming year. A panel of experts scrutinized and determined the rankings of the most popular and reliable companies for the coming year.
In this fast-paced age of information overload, it's easy for potential buyers to get lost in conflicting client reviews, rankings with irrelevant or too little information and lists that are difficult to understand. SecuritySystemReviews.com has made sure that the experts provide potential buyers with comprehensive yet important information. This saves clients a lot of time and money since it's difficult to make a decision without having enough information. The website urges the consumer to look carefully through their options and know what to demand and ask from the companies they wish to call.
When experts talk about a wireless home security system and setup for the office, the most important feature is the network the infrastructure is going to use to function. When these types of systems first came out and were more expensive and unpopular, the security of the data network between wireless security devices was better. Now, since wireless technology is everywhere, the risks have grown. It's important for consumers to know what to ask their service provider and what to avoid.
Clients can know more about the kinds of systems service providers set up through the wireless security system reviews on the website. The best wireless security system should have its own tough, encrypted cellular network. Why not LAN or Wi-Fi? These two types are easy to crack; a laptop and easily-accessible software can attack the network and disable wireless home security systems in a small amount of time. But if the network the system uses is cellular and connected directly to the service provider's infrastructure then there may be time to alert the police and the service provider if an intruder is up to something.
Experts know that wireless home security system reviews and office setup reviews involve different considerations. SecuritySystemReviews.com keeps all the considerations in mind and gives clients comprehensive information and clear data on how service providers fare in the tech-savvy market.
If clients want to know more details about each service provider, clicking on the links provided can tell them if the company offers more value for their systems. It may be possible that some companies can offer free trials, free installations and even mobile apps to enhance their systems.
The key to getting the wireless security system that works for the home or office is to make an informed and cautious decision.

Video shows bedroom peeper in Deltona -

DELTONA, Fla. -
Home security video caught a man peering into a woman's window as she was changing, but deputies have not arrested the neighbor who they believe may be the peeping Tom.
Willie Williams took a closer look at the video taken at his home on Jan. 4 and said he is 100 percent certain it is his neighbor on Escobar Avenue in Deltona.
"It's one of those situations where you don't expect for somebody to be peeping through your daughter's window and that was pretty disturbing," said Williams.
For three hours, the man in the video walks back and forth between the two houses, and every time the bedroom light turns on, he comes right up to the window to look inside. It looks like he knows what he's doing because when the light goes off, he ducks to avoid being seen.
"He's peeping at a woman who had recently got out of the shower and done a couple of things in her room as far as getting her relaxed attire for the night," said Williams, who said the victim was a woman visiting the family.
However, normally that's his daughter's room and now he's worried if this peeping Tom has ever been to that window before.
Deputies never arrested the neighbor because they said the video is not good enough to identify him. The suspect's wife said they were asleep the entire night.
"We're married for 30 years, there's no way," said the suspect's wife, who Local 6 is not naming until the suspect is charged. "It's not my husband."
The State Attorney's Office is looking into filing charges.

LAS VEGASHome automation has a public relations problem: If the non-tech obsessed public views it at all, it views it as complicated, intimidating and possibly unnecessary. And home-automation technology is still in an emerging state, with many products still working out various kinks and tanglesunderstandable, maybe, but still frustrating for any person brave enough to give home-automation systems a try.
Kwikset's Kevo lock looks like a normal deadbolt, but it's actually a smart lock that lights up and unlocks when you tap it.
However, people seem more likely to try out home-automation tech when it comes a la carte. Color-changing Bluetooth light bulbs and smart thermostats are good examples, and another area thats on the rise seems to be smart locks.
I kept running into smart locks at booth after booth after booth. From the all-inclusive Okidokeys, to the sleek Goji, to the deceptively standard looking Kevo, smart locks were making themselves known on the show floor.
Each of these smart locks have slightly different features and advantages to make them appealing to consumers looking for smarter functionality at their front doorOkidokeys locks can be unlocked with either smart or feature phones, the Goji Smart Lock will not only greet you by name but will also send you a picture alert of who is at your front door, and the Kevo lock can recognize your phone as you approach and will unlock your door when you tap the lock.
The Okidokeys lock, like most smart locks, uses Bluetooth, can generate temporary keys, and will even notify you when people lock or unlock your door.
However, there are also similarities: Most of the locks I saw operated via battery power, most use Bluetooth functionality, almost all of them included the traditional key-and-lock structure into the device as well (and many also provide a key fob or alternate method of access for those who dont have access to an app or web dashboard), most eschewed subscriptions or any fee-based services, almost every one featured a notification system of alerts via text or email, and more than one used rules or modes that are similar to IFTTT recipes.
The majority of the smart locks that I saw on the show floor were not part of a complete home automation system (although a few did feature Z-Wave capabilities, meaning they could potentially be added to a larger system), and all focused on serving a common need: An easier way for you to control access to your home from anywhere.
And this is where the smart lock trend is really poised to succeedby addressing real-life use cases where the technology is truly needed. Airbnb hosts, for example, could provide guests with a digital key that can only be accessed during their stay (after which permission is revoked). Parents can receive notifications when their children arrive home from school, homeowners can give access on specific dates and times for the nanny, house cleaners, or even the plumber. If someone attempts to tamper with your lock or force entry into your house, you can receive alerts. Some of these smart locks will even recognize your presence (via your smartphone) and unlock your door for you.
While some smart locks look pretty unremarkable, the iBlueOpen flaunts its 21st-century style.

The Hindu Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde
Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde on Friday disclosed that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was being provided security by the Central government without his knowledge and despite his repeated rejection of it. Mr. Shinde was speaking to reporters during his monthly press briefing.
Asked about providing security to the AAP leader in the wake of the attack on the party head office in Kaushambi (Ghaziabad) recently, Mr. Shinde said that it was the duty of the government and the Home Ministry to take care of the security of VVIPs and others based on threat perception. Mr. Shinde said security agencies had asked Mr. Kejriwal thrice and he refused twice. Even so, the Delhi Police Commissioner had spoken to the Ghaziabad Superintendent of Police to provide security to the Chief Minister as he lives in his area and also because the AAP headquarters is located there. The Delhi Police are under the Central government as Delhi has not been accorded full statehood.
I face no threat
Mr. Kejriwal, who was simultaneously addressing a press meet to announce the launching of a nationwide free membership drive, declared that there was no threat to his life.
I have a long life-line, I do not need security, he said displaying his palm to journalists when asked about the offer of Z security by the Uttar Pradesh government.
The States offer came in the wake of Wednesdays attack over AAP leader Prashant Bhushans remark suggesting a referendum in Kashmir on the Armys presence.
The Chief Minister declared that in the first phase, the party was targeting a membership of one crore citizens by January 26. We have devised five easy ways for people to join the party and the Rs. 10 membership fee has been scrapped, Mr. Kejriwal said.
The membership drive would be through the party website, through SMS, missed calls, a door-to-door drive and through voter ID cards.
In fact, in the first three hours of his announcement, 47,500 people logged on to the AAP website for membership and 1,950 registered through mobile phones.
