Long before it was popular to discuss the connection between body, mind and spirit with health, Szuson Wong was living the life of a healer and teacher of alternative medicine. Born into a family of healers and raised in Canada, she was taught Chinese Tui Na (a 2000 year old system of Chinese bodywork massage therapy) and Tai Chi by her Grandfather at an early age. Szuson began her career as a Registered Nurse and a health counselor. Her studies eventually led her to get a degree in Acupuncture at the Beijing International School of Acupuncture. Following that she received a Doctorate in Energy Medicine. Kuala Lumpur, Dec. 14 (ANI): A Feng shui expert has dismissed fears that the world is coming to and end on December 21 as 'hoax'.

Feng shui master and founder of the Malaysian Institute of Geomancy Sciences Professor Master David Koh said that people should not put their money on the world ending on Dec. 21, as some have misinterpreted the ancient Mayan calendar.

"When the Mayans printed the calendar, Dec 21, 2012 was the end of one calendar cycle," he said, adding: "So, surely a new cycle will have to begin."

According to the Star, he gave an assurance that all the studies conducted by leading scientific authorities had shown no indication that the world would undergo any massive changes overnight.

"We don't see natural catastrophes that will severely wipe out the entire human population in the next few years," Koh said.

"Even if there is a massive volcanic eruption, or even a nuclear war, it is not doomsday," he added.

Koh dismissed the Dec 21 myth as a hoax made popular by the Hollywood film 2012, which revolved around the apocalyptic belief, the report said.

It was also reported that Pope Benedict XVI had rubbished claims that the world would end next week.

Although the world was unlikely to end, a Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia climatologist, Prof Datuk Dr Shaharuddin Ahmad, said signs were already there that the world was changing for the worse.

"It doesn't have to be Dec 21, but there are already so many signs of doomsday," he said.

Kuala Lumpur, Dec. 12 (ANI): 12-12-12 is a memorable date but is not suitable for auspicious events, according to feng shui experts and numerologists.

The numerological calculations also showed that the date is actually a "weak" one.

"There is nothing special about the date. It is like any other date," the Star Online quoted Malaysian Institute of Geomancy Sciences and Feng Shui founder Prof Master David Koh as saying.

"While it is not an auspicious date, many are choosing to get married on this date merely because it is unique and easy to remember," he said.

Astrologer Master Yuvaraj Sowma said people should enhance their spiritual practice in whatever faith they observe as the world will be entering a "challenging period" from this date to December 24.

"People should avoid travel, making important decisions, marriage and business partnerships," he said.

While the world was not going to end, people should be extra careful as dark forces would be stronger during this period, he said.

Numerologist Sushmeetha Morugan said that the destiny number derived from the date added up to the number two, which is ruled by the planet moon.

"The date does not have good energy. It is best not to do anything auspicious such as start a business or get married with energy of the moon," she said. (ANI)
