In feng shui, the front door is consideredthe mouth ofChi. It is through the front door that the house receives its feng shui nourishment of energy. The quality of this energy determines the quality of energy inyour home.In classicalfeng shui, the most auspicious colors for a front door are based on the compass direction the door faces and its corresponding feng shui element.
For each fengshui directionand its corresponding elementyou might choose aharmoniouscolor or aproductive (or...MORE producing)color. A harmonious color is linked to the element itself; for example, the east direction is wood, and the colors of wood are green and brown. A productive color is based on elements that produce, support, or nourish the governing element of a given direction. Productive elements for wood are related to the water element and include black, blue, and purple.
To determine the compass direction your front door faces, you can use a traditional magnetic compass, but it's even easier to use a compass app on your smartphone:Open the compass app and place the bottom edge of the phone against the doorwhile holding the phone straight out and level. The numbershown with the degree symbol is the precise direction the door faces. For example, 0 degrees is directly north; 180 degrees is directly south.

A good feng shui house is nourished by fresh, clear and free-flowing energy. There is no stagnant, old or blocked energy anywhere in the house.Everything around us is in constant flow, in constant change. So, even after you've created a strong feng shui foundation in your house, the work continues. You have to get into the habit of keeping the energy fresh and flowingand be very mindful of not creating stuck areas in your house.
Stuck, stagnant energy in a specific area of your house will sooner or later express itself in stuck or completely blocked energy in a specific area of your life (see thefeng shui baguaor energy map).Get rid of your clutter, clear out yourclosets, your basement, yourgarage, and once these areas are clean, do not let them accumulate more clutter.
Use basic space clearing tips at least once a week. Good, fresh feng shui energy expresses itself in a clean space, fresh air, plenty ofgood light, and happy, meaningful energy as expressed in any decor items in your house.

Flying Star is an excellent Feng Shui formula that you can use to optimize your luck for the year of the DOG 2018. It is an easy-to-use yet accurate method to discover what energy is in what location, so users can find out where to tap the good and suppress the negative chi for the year. Flying Star formula is based on the directions of the compass, divided into nine sectors in a home or office building. What Flying Star lands in which sector determines either lucky or unlucky vibrations. Lillian Too, a highly respected feng shui grand master and author, says that the Flying Star is one of the most powerful ways to quickly and effectively improve your luck using Feng Shui.
The Flying Stars Feng Shui is not complicated to understand. When decoded and correctly analyzed, all the afflicted sector of buildings and homes in 2018 can be easily identified (see chart below). Placing remedies to subdue the afflictions is part of updating feng shui each new year. It is important to have the Feng Shui Cures in place to subdue all obstacles to your success.
Simply following the information of energy changes within a sector can help determine where to spend more or less time and which areas need Flying Star feng shui cures to attract or repel energy. Relationships, career and prosperity, as well as health issues, are all affected by the Flying Stars. Knowing their annual location can make all the difference in whether your year is a good one or not and the outcome is within your control.
THE 2018 FLYING STAR CHARTThis years annual Flying Star Feng Shui Chart becomes effective on February 4, 2018. Those stars which are positive (green) should be enhanced while the negative (red) ones should be subdued or made less harmful. The good news is that with this information at your disposal, you play a role in determining your destiny, because whether a star is lucky or not, there are methods to maximize or minimize its effects.
Superimpose the 2018 chart onto your floor plan to clearly see the distribution of Flying Stars in your residence or office:
HERE ARE THE NEGATIVE FENG SHUI FLYING STARS FOR 2018, AND THEIR LOCATIONS:
Making the effort to suppress the major manifestations of bad luck for any year is the crux of time dimension feng shui; doing so requires little effort and will effectively reduce aggravations and misfortune. Not doing so is being careless about an important part of the New Year ritual. For this year it is a good idea to have all your Feng Shui Cures in place before 4th February 2018, which is the day of the Lap Chun.
Feng Shui Products RecylingProducts used in previous years can be recycled although the strength of the cure is usually low and the remedy for this year should be stronger. New cures come with fresh energy. If you are recycling, re-energize your cures by washing them with natural sea or rock salt. Then let them stand in the great outdoors for three days absorbing the natural yang energy of the environement.
The NORTH Plagued by the #5 Yellow Misfortune Star
The Five Yellow brings misfortune to the North in 2018, and with it comes danger and the possibility that havoc could get created in the lives of those residing within. If your bedroom, front door or the door you use the most is located North, the Five Yellow can bring distress and suffering. Misfortune caused by the Five Yellow in 2018 can be severe business loss or threatening terminal illness.
It is important to suppress the pernicious effects of the Five Yellow as it can spread to other parts of the house unless remedies are put into place. Unless suppressed, the Five Yellow brings serious illness, accidents and loss that occur in many aspects of life. It is the catalyst for bringing all kinds of misfortune. Sometimes, just facing the Five Yellow direction can bring bad luck. If you reside in a room located North in 2018, you need to place the Feng Shui cure inside your room.
If your main door, bedroom or office desk is afflicted by the Five Yellow, due to their location in the North, the affliction must be dealt with before the 4th of Feb 2018. Remember that bad luck caused by the Five Yellow manifests quickly and since prevention is better than cure, do install Feng Shui cures as soon as possible. For North facing house - put a cure in the front of the house as well.
Any kind of demolition or digging is harmful in the North as this causes big time negative luck to manifest. It is dangerous to drill floors, knock down walls, dig holes in the ground, engage in any kind of destructive work or make noise. Any of these activities will activate the Five Yellow, triggering severe bad luck.
The Rat-born are also affected by this star as the North is your home-location, as is the middle son in a family.
The Sun and Moon 5 Element Pagoda, 6 inch Five Element Pagoda or the 6 inch Golden Mantra Pagoda are excellent cures to nullify the effect of this Star. Wear the Bejeweled Five Element Pagoda Pendant, or carry the Golden Mantra Pagoda Keychain or 5 Element Pagoda Talisman Keychain for extra protection.

The North is harmed by the Three Killings in 2018. This is a negative phenomenon that brings three types of bad luck associated with loss, a loss of ones good reputation, loss of a loved one and loss of wealth. The Three Killings derail the best laid plans with unexpected obstacles. It is the most common cause of reversals of fortune. In 2018, it occupies the North, so the danger here is to the middle son of the family. Anyone occupying the North can likewise get hurt.
This year, it is good idea to keep all North sector doors and windows closed during the afternoon hours, as this will block the three killings. Effective cures are the three celestial protectors comprising the Chi Lin, Fu Dog and Pi Yao.

Four Parts:Applying Feng Shui to Your BedAvoiding Negative EnergyCreating Balance Through ColorsMaking Other ConsiderationsCommunity Q&A
The ancient Chinese method of Feng Shui helps us to balance our homes and create happier, more successful lives, room by room. We often turn our attention to the bedroom, the sanctuary where we can rest and recharge. Having the proper Feng Shui in the bedroom can help your romantic life as well as your ability to rest and to feel in control. You have to know how to keep the chi flowing, and how to deflect any negative energy that may enter your room -- and your life. If you want to know how to Feng Shui your bedroom, just see Step 1 to get started.
Part 1
1
Have a solid headboard. The best Feng Shui headboards are the ones that are solid and made from wood, or the upholstered ones, as they have a very good combination of solid, but also gentle and supporting Feng Shui energy for you and your bedroom. While you are drifting off to sleep, your body is going into an extra busy energy repair work on many levels. Subconsciously, your head needs good backing, protection and support, just like your back needs it when you are sitting in a chair for extended periods of time.
2
Get a supportive mattress. There are a variety of mattresses on the market, choose wisely and invest in the one that will promote best sleep and relaxation. The better you sleep at night, the better your health during the day, this is really simple. Be mindful of good Feng Shui and do not buy used mattresses - you never know what energy they have accumulated from previous owners.
3
Make sure the bed is a good height. To allow for a balanced Feng Shui energy flow under the bed, you need to have your bed at a reasonable height above the floor level. Generally, the beds that have built-in storage drawers underneath to help you with storage solutions are considered bad Feng Shui beds. Why? Because the energy needs to circulate around your body when you sleep, which is not possible if the space underneath the bed is blocked.
4
5
Have a good supporting wall behind your bed. In addition to a good headboard, you always want to have a solid wall behind your bed. When you sleep under the window, your personal energy tends to get weaker in time, as it has neither proper support, nor protection.
6
7
Keep your bed far away from any TVs, desks, or other distractions. Ideally, you should move your desk and television out of your bedroom, so the bedroom truly becomes a place where you can rest and relax. However, we all have limited space, so if you do have a television or a desk in your room, position it as far from your bed as possible to not get in the way of the bed's positive energy. If you can, drape a light scarf or blanket over the TV or desk, or even cover it up with a Japanese folding closet to create even more space.
Part 2
1
Avoid a mirror that faces your bed or a mirrored set of closet doors. If these mirrors are fixtures that you can't get rid of, then drape some fabric over them. Left exposed, they are thought to disturb your sleep. In general, you should avoid having mirrors in your bedroom, especially if you're sharing it with a romantic partner, because they may open up a space for infidelity. Mirrors are also too energetic for such a restful space.
2
Refrain from positioning your bed directly under a beam. A beam may create feelings of pressure that can disrupt your sleep. If you have no other options, cover the beam with fabric or hang 2 bamboo flutes from the beam with the mouthpieces pointed downward. This will help block some of the unwanted energy coming from above the bed. The idea is that you don't want to feel threatened in your sleep.
3
Skip fountains and water features. Also, don't hang up pictures of water or place an aquarium in your room. These could invite possible financial loss or robbery. Keep your fish tank or paintings of water or rivers out of the bedroom if you want to have the best possible Feng Shui.
4
5
Avoid accumulating clutter around your bed or pushing one side of your bed against a wall. The Chi can't circulate, which means possible disturbances in your intimate life. If your bed is up against a wall, then one partner will have to sleep on the inside, becoming literally "trapped" in the relationship.
6
Get rid of your television. Television creates an unhealthy magnetic field which may disrupt your sleep, strain your relationship with your partner or bring a third party into the bedroom. If you have to keep it in the bedroom, then try to cover it with a scarf when you're not using it. If you're really serious about it, hide the TV in the closet when you're not using it, or place it on a shelf that can lock up, hiding the TV when it's not in use.
7
Part 3
1
2
3
4
Part 4
1
2
3
Be aware of the position of the windows. If you can, try to avoid placing your bed between the window and a door, or you'll be in the middle of the "draught" of chi running between these two places. If you can't avoid it, just make sure you have nice, pleasant curtains to block some of the bad energy. You should also avoid sleeping facing the window, if you can, or your sleep won't be as restful.
4
5
Aim for equality. Try to have equal space on either side of your bed and other furniture. A person should be able to walk around as easily around one side of the room as the other, within reason. Of course, a piece of furniture may add some inequality, but in general, you should avoid letting most of the stuff in the bedroom clutter over to one side, or you'll create discord in your most important room.
6
Get rid of clothes you no longer wear. Go through your closet and drawer and remove all of the clothes you haven't worn within the last year. Donate these clothes or pass them on to a friend or relative if they can still be worn. Even though you may not see the old clothes, keeping them in your bedroom may prevent you from embracing new opportunities.
7
8
Make sure your bedroom isn't too crowded. Keep your bedroom as spare and simple as possible. Don't add extra chairs, lamps, or pictures to your bedroom if you're not sure whether or not they are really necessary. The more stuff you have in there, the more difficult it may be to find balance.
9
Get rid of any clutter. To have optimal Feng Shui in your bedroom, you have to get rid of any extra papers, trash, old trinkets, silly photos, useless gifts, or really just anything you don't really need in there. If you have too much sentimental attachment to some of the items, you can put them in storage or another room, but work on minimizing the stuff you really need in your bedroom. Having a spare and uncluttered bedroom will lead to an uncluttered and fulfilling life.
What should I do if I have windows on two of the bedroom walls?
wikiHow Contributor
You can get yourself some nice curtains, and decorate around the windows accordingly.
Can I have a mirror above the headboard of my bed?
wikiHow Contributor
No, that creates a very strong negative energy and you won't be able to sleep well.
How do I arrange the nine areas of a bedroom so that the focus is on the love corner?
wikiHow Contributor
Declutter the area. Place red or fire element colors there. Add a painting/picture of a couple or animals or something that makes you feel love. Also, pair things, i.e. 2 pillows instead of 1 or 3, 2 candles or nightstands instead of 1, etc.
If I have to choose between placing the bed on a metal bed frame or directly on the floor, which is typically the wiser decision?
wikiHow Contributor
I would say to keep your bed off the floor on a metal frame. Even though the frame is solid, you will still have energy flow underneath your bed, unlike if you left it either without a backboard or on the floor.
I have a beam above my bed and two doors, one we use and one that remains closed. What should I do? And, my room is light purple. Should I change it?
wikiHow Contributor
Treat the door you don't use as a wall (like it's not there) and move your bed accordingly if possible. Light purple isn't bad but bring in other colors to help bring balance like yellow and dark purple accents with silver fixtures.
If I have two doors in my bedroom, can I put my bed in front of one of the doors?
wikiHow Contributor
If you won't be using that door, then yes you can. Also, if your family is okay with it, you could consider getting the door removed.
I have two doors in my apartment and mainly use the back door as a front door, so which is my main door?
wikiHow Contributor
The door that you actually use (in this case, your back door) should be treated as a "front door."
What can I place in a room to avoid negative energy from mirrors?
wikiHow Contributor
Place the mirror so that it doesn't face your bed, such as placing it on the other side of the same wall that your bedhead rests against. You can hide the mirror as well, such as throwing a cloth over it or, if it's on a dressing stand, flipping it around to face the wall during sleep. Inside a closet door that gets shut is another good place for it.
My bed will only fit under the window. What should I do now?
wikiHow Contributor
This is the same issue I have. I don't think its a massive deal -- just make sure you have blinds/curtains to stop the light disturbing your sleep. Ultimately, your room is supposed to be like a sanctuary, free from distractions and free from chaos. I think this can still be achieved, despite the location of the bed.
My bed is on the opposite side of my room, which is very small. I can only fit one night stand, as I have cupboards on the left hand side of my room. Are the cupboards a problem?
wikiHow Contributor
Ultimately, if your room is quite small, it's important to utilise the space you have -- and without over-packing it with furniture. Keep in mind, minimalism is key. Are these cupboards for clothing? How much do you really need the night stand? More storage sometimes tempts people to get extra things. If the cupboards are for clothing, and you have very little floor space, then I'm tempted to say ditch the bedside table.

Color is everywhere and it affects us all the time. How can we use colors correctly in house Feng Shui to pursue good fortune, avoid disaster and bring us good luck? Generally, we should abide by the following five principles:
1. Conforming to the Element of the House OwnerThe colors conform to the five elements of the house owner are beneficial to the owner's luck. In general, if the owners lucky element is fire, the suitable color will be red, purple, etc.; if the owners lucky element is wood, the suitable color will be green, light blue, etc.; if the owners lucky element is water, the suitable color will be black, dark blue, etc.; if metal is the owners lucky element, the suitable color will be white, golden, etc.; if earth is the owners lucky element, the suitable color will be yellow, gray, etc.
2. Distinguishing the Primary and the SecondaryYang is the primary while Yin is the secondary. Distinguishing the primary and the secondary is required to balance the Yin and Yang in the house Feng Shui. Generally speaking, this principle in color Feng Shui mainly includes two aspects: firstly, a house shall have only one primary color which shall account for at least 50% of the entire house decoration color; secondly, the primary color shall cover at least the living room and the master bedroom.
Please click Color Taboos in Feng Shui to check which colors could be used as primary colors and which should be avoided.
3. Generation among Five ElementsThis principle means that the secondary or matching colors which have the mutual generation effect with the primary color shall be chosen. For example, if the primary color is green which belongs to wood in five elements, the red or blue series can be chosen since both red and blue belong to fire which generates wood. The principle of Generation among Five Elements embodies the flow of five elements in Feng Shui, which is beneficial to the energy flow of the owner. Therefore, the owner will be full of vitality and have good luck.
Each Feng Shui element is represented by some specific colors:Metal: White, Apricot, GoldenWood: Cyan, GreenWater: Black, BlueFire: Red, PurpleEarth: Yellow, Brown
Generating and Controlling Cycle of Fiver Elements: The Generating Cycle: Wood makes Fire burn; Fire creates Earth; Earth bears Metal; Off of Metal runs the Water; Water makes Wood grow. The Controlling Cycle: Fire melts Metal; Metal chops down Wood; Wood breaks the Earth; Earth soaks up Water and blocks its flow; Water controls Fire.
Color Match Theory:
The application and matching of colors based on five elements have been in people's life since ancient times: Forbidden City: the walls are in red while the glazed tiles above and the top of many palaces are in yellow, reflecting the generation between fire (red) and earth (yellow) in five elements. After hundreds of years, the Forbidden City still stands majestically. Swastika: it consists of red, white and black. In terms of five elements, it violates the principle of Generation among Five Elements: fire (red) is incompatible to metal (white); water (black) is incompatible to fire (red). The Nazism was perverse, ruthless and tyrannical, thus perished finally.
4. Light Heaven & Dark EarthLight heaven creates the spacious feeling while dark earth symbolizes steadiness. The heaven is a symbol of career, so the light heaven is a symbol of the hopeful and promising career; the earth is a symbol of foundation, so the dark earth is a symbol of the solid and long-term career foundation. If the heaven is dark while the earth is light, it will be like the top-heavy people, thus inharmonious and full of negative energy. In color Feng Shui, light heaven refers to the light and simple color while dark earth refers to the dignified and dark color. In Chinese Feng Shui, ceiling is the heaven, floor is the earth and wall means the human. The ceiling shall use the lightest color and the floor shall be in the color darker than the ceiling; otherwise, people living in the house will put the incidental before the fundamental in work. The walls shall use the color darker than the ceiling but lighter than the floor.
5. Cool Up & Warm DownAs is known to all, color generally can be divided into warm and cool ones. Cool belongs to Yin, so the cool air is sinking; warm belongs to Yang, so the warm air is rising. The principle of Cool Up & Warm Down means Yin up and Yang down to form the perennial effect of sinking cool air and rising warm air.
Red in the EastRed is a symbol of happiness, enthusiasm, boldness and progress. In Feng Shui, east symbolizes youth and adventurous spirit. Therefore, putting some red furniture and decorations in the east will make your family full of energy and benefit your work and study. Red shall be the ornamental color or be used in a small area.
Green in the SouthIn terms of Feng Shui, south dominates inspiration and social skills; green is a symbol of vitality. Placing green plants in the south can make your house beautiful and improve your interpersonal relationship. If you want to decorate your walls with green, you should use it in a small area and reduce its purity and lightness.
Yellow in the WestYellow has been regarded as a symbol of wealth; west is regarded as a direction dominating career and fortune. Placing some yellow furniture and decorations in the west can bring you flourishing wealth and successful career. In home decoration, the yellow cloth decorations or little furniture are suggested. If you want to decorate your walls with yellow, you should improve its purity and lightness.
Orange in the NorthNorth dominates the conjugal relationship while orange symbolizes an outburst of enthusiasm. If you want to have a better conjugal relationship, you can place an orange lamp or rug in the north of your bedroom. Where orange is used to decorate your walls, you should improve its purity and lightness.
Other directions and matching colors:White in the northwest can improve the luck with the benefactor;Dark brown/soil color in the southwest can increase the stable energy in the house;Yellow droplight in the southwest can improve your luck with the opposite sex.

Great food and great chefs and great staff. Food was delicious and chef put on a great show. Drinks are great too! I had the surf and turf, Mai tai, and all the saki they would give me.
Feng Shui is a locally owned restaurant that was a welcomed addition to the Chelmsford foodie scene. Feng Shui offers a range of Asian food including sushi, hibachi, Japanese, and vegetarian offerings. There's variety for every taste. :)On the first level there is a bar, a nice dining area with sushi bar area and buffet area (on weekdays and weekends) as well as a more private room used for functions. The top level houses their hibachi grills and table set-ups. You can order off the regular menu in the hibachi area as well. I have been several times for the buffet and I enjoyed the varied entree options. The sushi is also very tasty and reasonably priced. Upstairs the hibachi area is great and fun for groups and special evenings. Great ambiance, diversity of types of food, and service make this a solid dining option for the area. My family enjoys dining here with picky out-of-town visitors and family and it's a great place to hit with friends.
Some things to note:-Food is good here, go for the buffet, it's one of the nicer ones in the area with great options-Sushi is delicious and with many options besides the California roll-They deliver, yay!-Parking is a nightmare most nights, so arrive early-They're a bit more expensive than other buffets in the area.
A serene sushi place in the suburbs with an upscale setting and reasonable pricing. This place spans 2 floors, hibachi is served in the top floor with sushi and buffet items served in the ground floor. The food was tasty.I only wish the staff were a bit more attentive.I have been here a couple of times and tried sushi and noodles both the times. It gets a bit crowded over Friday evenings. They do offer a decent selection of cocktails. This place isnt too bad if you are looking to have a decent sushi in and around the chelmsford area.
Downstairs the Chinese food tastes like any other Chinese food in the area, yes, I mean the 'fast food' Chinese, but the Hibachi, that's another story. In case you've missed it, Feng Shui has hibachi grills upstairs and you don't need to have a large group to enjoy it. My mom and I took a chance on them and we are still talking about it. Our chef gave us a great show and was very personable and made us the best food EVER. I had the chicken and steak and my mother had the shrimp, scallop, lobster combo. My dinner was melt in your mouth good, not too salty from the soy sauce and just perfect. From what my mom was saying, hers was Mmmmm, mmmm, mmmm, yum. The rice was PERFECT! It transformed from white rice to fried rice in front of our faces so you could see exactly what was going into your food. The vegetables were fresh and not mushy. And overall, because the food is cooked right in front of you, you don't have to wait for it to be served. Leftovers were just as good. I'm already planning my next trip.I'm sorry I can't review the sushi, I don't like it.
We love the food here; Both in the dining room and upstairs at the Hibachi. I'm not too found of the bar, they make good drinks, but the atmosphere isn't working for me.The sushi's wonderful, but my favorite dish the the lobster in ginger scallion sauce. We usually don't eat from the buffet, not because it isn't good, it is, but it gets way to busy.
Love this Hibachi Sushi Lounge! Such a fun spot for large groups, kids & adults! So much to see and experience. The Chefs here are great and make it a fun experience to remember while the food is prepared right in front of you! I have been for numerous celebrations! My go-to is usually the NY Strip Steak & Chicken Combo, its such a great combo. Very filling as well as of course, leftovers to bring home! All Hibachi entrees are served to start with a soup, salad, rice and veggies! Yum!!!
I don't know what to say about Feng Shui that hasn't already been said over and over, except that it lives up to the hype. It is a family favorite. The Sunday buffet is outstanding- not the usual offerings at all (and I loathe buffets). Service is excellent and the space is modern and chic. If you are in the area, I highly recommend it.Note: 18% gratuity is added to all checks for parties of 6 or more- even the buffet- and it's not clear on the check. We had a mix up with this and management took care of it a couple of days later without any hassle.
The local hibachi in Chelmsford. We have done it all, the dining room downstairs, apps in the lounge, sushi only, and of course hibachi. The food is fresh and very good. The sushi has been very good for me anytime I have had it. The hibachi is a HUGE portion and if you have a great chef and a good group of people is an awesome experience. We had gone for a dinner group to hibachi thinking our later time would mean no to very little wait time. When we arrived we were told it was a 30-45 min wait, no big deal, we got apps and drinks in the lounge. But then we noticed they may have been short staffed as we were the only table seated up in the hibachi area. The waitress we had (her name escapes me) was not the usual caliber of waitress we have had (maybe it was her first night). She forgot drinks and orders and that's the one star deduction. Overall all a pretty good eatery.
Nice quality of lunch buffet! I love the coconut shrimp, fishes and all their veggy here. Thumps up!
When I moved to MA, I asked for a recommendation for a good Chinese place to take my parents when they visited. I went here and was amazed! It's huge first of all. Upstairs has the hibachi grill and downstairs is an Asian mix of foods including a sushi bar. The food is amazing. I am vegetarian but my parents had all the popular meat items and said, "this is the best Chinese I have had." I love the pad Thai they do. It's a bit different from traditional Thai, but it's amazing. The spinach fried rice is also a must try. And all the vegetarian sushi they do is great, my favorite is the Idaho roll. I have done the hibachi a couple times and that is always fun with a group. I prefer eating downstairs though because the menu is amazing. Drinks are strong and made well. Good selection of beers too. My favorite restaurant in the area by far. Take out and delivery is convenient too. I will just recommend you ask for soy sauce or extra soy ... sometimes they don't remember to put it in the bag or if they do, it's one packet.
The space is nice. Only been once in a booth but a pleasant looking environment. The service was great. Very attentive and knowledgeable waiter. The authentic Chinese food tripe in chili oil was delicious. The green and black bok choy with mushrooms was a tad expensive for the dish but delicious. Next the sushi sashimi and rolls.Tuna sushi, ika(squid)sushi, tako octopus sushi, unagi sea urchin sushi, salmon sashimi. Served on the traditional boat with Dikon radish and ginger. The portion was worth it and the fish was super fresh. The sushi rice was seasoned just right. We also ordered the shui Mai which was homemade and definitely the best around I've had.I would definitely recommend this place for a good eating experience
This was "shown" like a big Japanese Sushi Bar but turned out to be more like a Chinese Take Out place you can find in every corner! Dine in option at one of the very few tables (probably used more for while waiting your food) to be served with plastic utensils for food in plastic plates (again only a take out place where you can get a fortune cookie). We ordered hot and sour soup (OK) and sushi-sashimi plate. It was $59 dollar I knew from the men's but the portion I got was not worth $59 I paid for it. Thank God, I didn't get sick or anything! Anyway, I would not go back tho that location again.
Decided to stop by this loca hibachi lounge for the first time. I had heard good things. I decided to go with the hibachi chicken & tenderloin. The food was great!!!! Our cook was funny and entertaining even though it was just one friend and I. I seriously loved the steak it was cooked SO perfect!! My friend considered it "basic" compared to the other hibachi places we've been too. However if you're near by I think it's a good stop!!
Insult to real Chinese food and service. Horrible service attitude against yellow skinned.
LOVE THIS PLACE! I went with my boyfriend and got the buffet. He did not because of his shellfish allergy. I loved trying the different appetizers and sushi at the buffet and found some new sushi that I like. Really good crab Rangoon and pork wontons. They have fresh fruit at the buffet and different desserts(cream puffs and ice cream). Their dinner buffet is $21.50...lunch is $12.50. My boyfriend got the crispy duck and raved about it. He felt comfortable ordering food here with his shellfish allergy(he usually avoids eating Chinese food) so this was great for us!
Excellent Food!!! Excellent atmosphere!! Excellent service!!Lunch buffet was beyond satisfying. Food was fresh and constantly replenished. So much to choose from. I will visit again when I'm in the area.
I gave them a 4 because they sit you with other people if it's not too crowded . Say I got there first with my guest , they would sit us and the next two or three people to walk in will sit with us also . I'm just one of those people I like privacy with my group . Call me anti-social I don't care lol ! But anyways , I been here two times the first time it was good the cook was very friendly . The servers were also friendly . What I don't like is they cook the rice first and expect you to grub it down while everything else is being made . It's tasty but I would like chicken with my rice too please not 10 mins after when my rice is cold . It wasn't bad though it was tasty . The shrimp needed more flavor though . The second time I went with boyfriend also a great time . The cook wasn't so wild because it was so early like 11am . Still tasty just huge portions lol I could never eat it all . I don't get why they have to add so much zucchini takes up half my plate lol ! Would go again but not for awhile .
Feng Shui operates 3 restaurants in Massachusetts, one in Chelmsford, one in Tyngsboro and another in Cohasset. The restaurant boasts high end Asian cuisine featuring special maki rolls and Japanese hibachi teppanyaki style meals. If one doesn't want to participate in the lively cooking show, there's an extensive menu with Japanese and Chinese offerings. We visited the Chelmsford location today for their weekend lunch buffet. Price was reasonable, less $15.00 per person. We got there right when it opened at 11:30 AM and the workers were still setting up our table. Our server came to get our drink order and asked if we wanted soup. The options were miso, hot and sour and wonton. There was no egg drop so I went with the wonton. It was actually pretty good. For the buffet, there were 7 types of maki rolls and 3 types of sushi on riceI was surprised to see the dim sum offerings in the steel steaming trays. There were chicken feet, tripe, wontons, shumai, sticky rice and shrimp dumplings.I turned around and there was additional selection of Chinese delicacies that included pig's ear and ox tail. The restaurant does cater towards the Asian community with these offeringsTo cater towards the western clientele, there was the typical American Chinese food that included wings, terriyaki, boneless spareribs, eggrolls, crab rangoons, lo mein, general gau chicken, etcMy favorite entrees was the fried fish in sauce, braised pork belly and stuffed mussels. For dessert, the ice cream choices for the day was black raspberry and maple walnut. I was a bit disappointed that there was no green tea, coconut or red bean. Service was extremely friendly and quick. It didn't feel like the typical Chinese buffet where the servers are rushed, annoyed and overworked.I'd definitely recommend this place and I'd go back!
This is a review and rating strictly on Feng Shui's Sunday evening dinner buffet.I usually avoid buffets as I have always found them to be disappointing. But loving their food off the menu, we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately I was again disappointed. There were a large number of standard appetizers and entrees, plus sushi and some dessert items. In general, it was hit or miss. Some items were good, while others were poor. My worries has always been how long the food has been out. Multiple items appeared to have been out for a while. Although the chicken wings and fried dumplings looked fine, they were dry and cold. Other items followed suit. The lo mein was also on the slightly warm side. The fried rice did not look appealing. The chicken teriyaki and coconut shrimp were terrific. I should note we arrived just 1.5 hours into the start of the buffet. It was not at the tail end. I note that I am not a fan of sushi. Still the sushi offered in the buffet looked completely unappetizing. My son who does eat a lot of sushi confirmed that it was not very good.At over $20 a person, I cannot recommend the buffet. If I were to rate on the buffet by itself, it would be two stars at best.We will continue to visit Feng Shui. But we will avoid the buffet and order fresh off the menu where they shine and get four stars as noted in a previous review.

Bedroom Arrangement Using Feng Shui -
October 15, 2017 by
Mr HomeBuilder
Bedroom arrangements in feng shui embrace the primary function of your bedroom, which is to serve such activities as sleep, relaxation and sex. Feng shui principles incorporate the right elements and furniture placement to enhance your overall health and well being. These principles ensure the continued flow of chi energy through the balance of yin (female) and yang (male) energies.
To create chi balance, you must first rid your bedroom of all clutter and work-related equipment. Dirt and dust create stagnant chi which can result in such things as illness, disharmony within your relationships and loss of wealth.
Allison Marks
Feng shui expert Allison Marks of 6 Figure Home Office agrees, saying "One of the biggest stress producers in most of our homes is CLUTTER! Even if you consider yourself a hopeless clutterbug, give yourself the gift of creating a clear and clean sanctuary in your bedroom. Be ruthless!"
The feng shui rules for bedroom furniture placement are specific and should be followed. If the size or configuration of your room, especially window location, prevents you from following feng shui guidelines, then you can apply corrective feng shui cures and remedies. Bed placement is the most important design aspect of your bedroom.
As the largest piece of furniture in the room and the place where you rest, the bed is particularly important. The wrong placement can jeopardize your health.
When it comes to other bedroom furniture, you want to follow the same feng shui placement rules as you follow for any room in your home.
Marks is quick to remind that "The bedroom is the most yin place in a home. Think of a comfy cave: dark, cozy, small. There should be a sense of enclosure, and freedom to move within it." Keeping that goal in mind, there are three main rules for your bedroom, which advise against:
If you can't avoid placing furniture so that it create poison arrows, then you can remedy this by suspending a multi-faceted crystal ball from the ceiling so that it is between the poison arrow and the bed. Another solution is to use a runner for a a dresser to conceal and soften the corner edges. You can place nightstands on either side of the bed; just be sure that the nightstand isn't higher than the mattress, since this creates a poison arrow targeting the bed. Chairs and other pieces of furniture should also be set in the bedroom according to these guidelines.
If your armoire doors have mirror insets, then you want to place it where it doesn't reflect the bed. If this is unavoidable, then you need to cover the mirrors when sleeping.
Mirrors can be used in a bedroom, but with great discretion. There are placements you want to avoid such as placing a mirror directly across or over a bed. You simply don't want to reflect the bed in a mirror. This invites a third party into your marriage or relationship and results in infidelity. Some practitioners believe that a mirror can also startle the soul when it steps from the body for its nightly astral travels.
If you must place your bed so you don't have direct line of sight of the bedroom door, you can place a mirror so that you can see the door from the bed, just be sure not the mirror doesn't reflect the bed.
Work and sleep don't mix, so don't place a desk in your bedroom. This is a poor idea for a feng shui optimized bedroom. For good health and rest, keep your work separate from this rest area. Electronics are out, too. They contribute electrical currents to the room that can disrupt your sleep.
Most feng shui experts believe that all electronics should be banned from the bedroom. Marks agrees, saying "I want to say a special word here about televisions. Get it out of the bedroom! You're inviting strangers into your bedroom every time you turn the TV on, bringing that often harsh outer world into your private chamber. Perhaps more importantly, you are distracting yourselves from each other."
In a practical world, televisions and laptops are often a necessary evil in your sacred bedroom space. It's impossible to get away from technology, so a compromise solution is to place your TV in an armoire or other cabinet that can be closed when you're finished watching TV for the night. Close your laptop when not being used and store inside a night stand or drawer. That way they are at least out of sight and your space while you rest.
You can decorate the bedroom walls in color, texture, patterns and artwork. You can use feng shui compass directions to aid you in color selection. Choose colors that are restful. Soft colors like cream, peach, and pale pink are good choices. A soft yellow is considered particularly beneficial. "Blues are nice," Marks adds.
When it comes to color, Marks believes "Color is usually used to enhance a particular kind of energy (element), or to balance the yin/yang relationship. Some feng shui consultants work with color a lot, others not so much, saying that there are more powerful ways to affect the energies. Personally, I love color and use it a lot because it can have a tremendous impact on how we feel in a space."
When you select wall art, choose subjects that are happy and restful. Nature images and themes in twos, such as two mandarin ducks, swans, or peach blossoms, promote romance and a relaxing atmosphere.
The ideal location of your bedroom is far from any doors that open to the outside world. Avoid bedrooms with sloping roofs. If you have to sleep underneath a sloping roof, you can use a canopy bed to weaken the effect. A canopy can also provide protection from other negative ceiling elements, like bright light fixtures, a bathroom on the floor directly above you, and a ceiling fan.
Everything you place in your bedroom has a profound effect on the flow of chi energy. You want to ensure auspicious energy flows easily between the bedroom door and windows. By keeping this natural pathway free of clutter and large pieces of furniture, such as chairs and armoires, you'll prevent stagnant chi and enhance all activities that take place inside your bedroom. Marks' last bit of feng shui advice for your bedroom is to "please understand that there's no such thing as 100 percent perfect feng shui. Use these principles to do the best you can with what you have, and resolve to enjoy your home and your life!"

Feng Shui Colors -
September 22, 2017 by
Mr HomeBuilder
Have you ever wondered why you have certain feelings do you have when you look at bright red rose in the garden? Imagine if the garden didnt have colorful flowers but only the green foliage? How would you feel then?
Early in the morning when you see a newly opened flower in your garden, your heart is filled with joy and happiness. A white lily touches your soul for its serenity. A red rose, with its vibrant energy, elicits a feeling of love and passion. Why are these feelings evoked? Because each flower reflects a different color, causing it to have a unique hue that affects you in different ways. Feng Shui uses this natural magic of colors to transform your life.
A rose is red because it reflects red color. Feng Shui makes use of this reflected energy to create a balance between your yin and yang energies to suit your personality or your environment.
Think of yin energy as like a plant growing from the earth. It comes from the soil, raising itself upward and moving toward the sky, something it always do its best. As yin energy moves up to the sky it becomes more diffused and dissipated. Yin energy is the passive energy. Yin energies have an element of dreaminess about them.Colors like blue, white, green and purple according to Feng Shui are believed to have yin energies.
If your home office is full of creative and dream-inducing objects or colors, Feng Shui may call for you to get rid of them (at least some of them) and use more vibrant colors in their place. Yang Feng Shui colors will help you get in the right spirit to do some work and be enthusiastic.
Every association you have with a color contributes in some way to how you are. That is why colors play a meaningful role within the practice of Feng Shui. It is very essential for you to understand why toning down or playing up certain Feng Shui colors in your home will help you to achieve the goals you have set for yourself in your life.
The guiding principle in using Feng Shui Colors should be to achieve balance rather than excess. Whether you are planning the color scheme of your home, office, garden or personal appearance, the following characteristics of the colors in Feng Shui practice will give you an insight into how they can be used in Feng Shui design.
Colors and Feng Shui
Yin Colors & Feng ShuiYin colors according to Feng Shui are the colors that bring about healing and relaxation. The relation between colors and Feng Shui can be better understood by taking the example of some colors as given below.
Blue: Blue color according to Feng Shui has yin energy. It is calm and soothing. This color has great significance in Feng Shui as it reflects love as it heals and relaxes. Blue creates a feeling of peace and trust. Since it is the color of the sea and sky, Feng Shui associates it with adventure and exploration. Navy blue is the color of intellect and wisdom.Black: Black color in Feng Shui symbolizes money and income, black is great for careers, especially when combined with metal. It is the Feng Shui color of emotional protection and power.
Purple: Purple, the color that lies at the end of the spectrum, has a great significance in Feng Shui. The color is excellent for physical and mental healing and Feng Shui associates it with spiritual awareness.
White: In Feng Shui the white color represents poise, confidence and purity. Because of its yin energy, Feng Shui uses this color mostly in combination with gold or silver to generate an calm atmosphere.
The other yin colors of Feng Shui are pink and green. These colors also have their individual properties that are used in Feng Shui practice.
Yang Colors and Feng Shui
Yang colors according to Feng Shui belong to tend to be fire and wood elements. Feng Shui believes that these are the colors that provide you the enthusiasm or the positive energy required to do something or be motivated. The description that Feng Shui provides for each color is given below to help you in using them for your advantage.
Yellow: Yellow color in Feng Shui is considered to be as auspicious as red. Yellow represents sunbeams, warmth, motion, cheerfulness and friendliness. However, according to a noted 'Color Feng Shui' consultant, prolonged exposure to large amounts of intense yellow can cause anxiety.
Orange: With a lot of yang energy the orange color has great significance for Feng Shui practice as it strengthens your concentration. You might use this color when your creative well runs dry. Orange color in Feng Shui is used to give you a sense of purpose. Orange is the color of organization.
The other yang colors of Feng Shui are Tan/Beige, Brown, Red, Mauve, Maroon and lavender and gold. Each color has its significance such as money, luck or romance. These colors can be used in different combinations with Feng Shui elements for balancing the Chi of your Feng Shui, home, Feng Shui bed room , or Feng Shui office.
Colors & Feng Shui also have a lot to do with the direction in which your home sits. There are different colors that Feng Shui defines for the use in exterior facades of your house. Exterior colors of your house in Feng Shui practice can be used for matching or enhancing the basic house type that you have.
For example if your house is facing towards the south, painting its exterior with white, grey or blue enhances the flow of Chi in your home. For houses facing towards East, the colors in earth tones or metal tones are thought to be of much use for enhancing the positive energies of the house.

From Feng Shui For Dummies, 2nd Edition
By David Daniel Kennedy, Grandmaster Lin Yun
An ancient Chinese art, Feng Shui empowers you to improve every aspect of your life, from your health and wealth to your relationships and career. How does Feng Shui work? It enhances your environment according to principles of harmony and energy flow. Whether youre aware of it or not, your environment and your relationship with it are constantly affecting you. Consequently, your best bet for a healthy, happy, and successful life is to make your environment work for you through the practice of Feng Shui.
A colored object placed within the Life Area (of your space) associated with that color can help energize that space. By placing the Feng Shui Octagon, a tool for mapping the energies of a home or lot, over your lot plan or a floor plan of your home (starting with the first floor and then moving to any additional floors), you can figure out which parts of your home fall in which Life Areas and cure them with an appropriately colored object.
From painting the walls yellow in the Health Area of your home (for better health and physical well-being) to positioning a healthy green plant in the Family Area of your home or lot (to encourage unity and a stronger family bond), Feng Shui encourages the use of color to enhance your life energy. The following table shows you how to apply color to magnify the energy of each Life Area.
If youre looking to make some quick improvements to the environment in your home, the following list of practical Feng Shui cures is at your service:
Place an energetic fountain near your front door. The flowing energy of the water symbolizes cash, which helps more of the green stuff come your way. Get ready to enjoy more cash flow and connections with key people thanks to this simple cure.
Clear the entryway to your home. Let the chi (energy) flow right into your home and life by ridding your homes front entry of obstacles. Such things as looming plants or vines, old newspapers, bikes, and toys in your front path may limit the amount of energy entering your home. Clear out anything behind your door for even more benefits.
Make sure your home encourages learning. Put books where you can see them when you come in the front door to stimulate learning in both you and your children.
Get rid of unwanted frustrations by fixing broken objects. Make sure your front door is in good working order. It shouldnt scrape the floor or squeak, and the doorknob, hinges, and locks should all be secure. This cure allows you to release your frustrations and anxieties and smoothes your life path.
Spice up your love life with plants in the bedroom. Place three or nine new plants in your bedroom to enliven the energy of the room, adding hope and cheer. (If the plants have pink flowers, this cure will be even stronger!)
Position your bed to feel safe, loved, and great. Place your bed in the Commanding Position of your bedroom. This spot is the one farthest from the door but where youre still able to see the doorway and anyone approaching while youre lying in the bed. Placing your bed in the Commanding Position allows you to be stronger, calmer, and in charge.
Block drains to keep dollars from draining out of your pockets. To keep your funds from being drained, keep your bathroom doors closed, hang full-length mirrors on the outsides of your bathroom doors, and keep your drains closed when not in use (cover the sink drain, stop the tub, and keep the toilet lid closed).
Encourage helpful people in your life by hanging a pleasant-sounding wind chime. The sound of a metal wind chime hung in the right-front area of your home, office, or bedroom activates more people to help you and gets you more help from the people who are already at your side.
Boost your career with a better desk position. Position your desk cater-corner to and facing the office or cube door (even if you dont actually have a door in your workspace). If you cant turn your desk to face the door, arrange a mirror on your desk or wall so you can see whos coming. This adjustment helps you encounter more opportunities, go further in your field, and lose less often.
