Dog With No Eyes Plays Fetch – Video -

Dog With No Eyes Plays Fetch
Astonishingly video of a blind Border Collie playing fetch and manoeuvring at top speeds around her farm is baffling experts over what is only being described by her owners as a kind of super power. Darting around her home in Clay County, Indiana, slipping beneath fences and slowing to a stop before parked vehicles, her owners say they have no explanation for it with the dog having never once seen any of the objects she comes in contact with. Having her eyes surgically removed when a puppy the dog has zero chance of sight prompting Chica #39;s owners to compare her uncanny ability to a #39;radar. #39; #39;I don #39;t understand it at all. She runs every place she goes, #39; Chica #39;s owner Martha Knox told WTHI. #39;It #39;s almost like she has radar. #39; Mutually stumped, the owners say, are experts at Purdue University who have taken a look at her as well. Demonstrating Chica #39;s skill and favourite past time, a basketball is tossed into the yard as the dog patiently stays seated waiting her owner #39;s command. Released with a #39;go get it! #39; she is seen sprinting in its direction, easily catching up before shuffling the ball side-to-side with her snout to bring it back to her owner. #39;Good girl! #39; Mrs Knox rewards the dog whose tail waves in celebration. She is also seen eagerly jumping into her owner #39;s pickup truck when called for a ride. With no explanation for her ability given, her owners reason that their dog simply #39;sees with her heart. #39;From:tvbodagaViews:0 0ratingsTime:02:22More inPets Animals

Professor Jeffrey L. Kasser - Philosophy of Science - Lecture 13
Science can #39;t be free of philosophy any more than baseball can be free of physics. With this bold intellectual swing for the fences, philosopher Jeffrey L. Kasser uses the tools of philosophy to launch an ambitious and exciting inquiry into what makes science science. In this brilliant course you will discuss Why is science so successful? Is there such a thing as the scientific method? How do we distinguish science from pseudoscience? Is science rational, cumulative, and progressive? Focusing his investigation on the vigorous debate over the nature of science that unfolded during the past 100 years, Professor Kasser covers important philosophers such as Karl Popper, WV Quine, Thomas Kuhn, Paul Feyerabend, Imre Lakatos, Carl Hempel, Nelson Goodman, and Bas van Fraassen. All of these thinkers responded in one way or another to logical positivism, the dominant movement influencing the philosophy of science during the first half of the 20 th century. Logical positivism attempted to ground science exclusively in what could be known through direct experience and logic. It sounds reasonable, but logical positivism proved to be riddled with serious problems, and its eventual demise is an object lesson in how truly difficult it is mdash;perhaps impossible mdash;to secure the logical foundations of a subject that seems so unassailably logical: science.From:heretichickViews:0 0ratingsTime:30:06More inEducation

Part Time Lover - Oldenburg Gelding by Pablo - Over Fences November 2012
Part Time Lover, aka Party, is a 2008 chestnut Oldenburg gelding by Pablo with a star and hind socks. Pablo #39;s pedigree is very well known for exceptional jumping talent through his sire, Pilot, and has dressage recognition through Graphit. Pablo is both a very good mover (9 on trot for both 100 day tests in Germany and Sweden) as well as a superior jumper and qualified for the Bundeschampionat twice. Pablo produces serious talent for both dressage and jumpers. Party is out of the MMB Oldenburg mare, Gorgeous Breeze, a premium foal producer who produced a premium full sibling to Party in 2007, named Love #39;s Priceless, who is now competing on the A hunter circuit with a young rider, recently winning the 2"6 Hunter Classic at Fox Lea Farms. Party is a lovely mover with three very good gaits and has a fantastic disposition. He really wants to learn and tries hard to make you happy. He is very outgoing and a fast learner. He is sensitive to the aids, but not overly so and is going to make a great amateur #39;s mount. His moderate size makes him easier to package up than a lot of horses and he is a great size for many smaller riders who don #39;t want or need a giant. He is an easy, uncomplicated, and soft ride. He has lovely form through the jump chute, and is starting to jump small courses. He is hard to spook under saddle and has been out trail riding alone - we wouldn #39;t trust many horses of his age to do this. He has great manners on the ground, loads, clips, ties, cross ties ...From:EclipseSporthorsesViews:0 0ratingsTime:01:50More inPets Animals

Titan - Available for Adoption
Meet Titan a 1 year old - Great Dane cross Rhodesian Ridgeback available for Adoption at Wacol RSPCA - (Animal ID 674854) I am still a puppy, I know what you #39;re thinking, I #39;m huge, hence the name Titan...but in my mind I don #39;t understand that quite yet. I really am a gentle giant, I would benefit from a patient owner that would be keen to do the training with me so I can develop the proper skills and manners. I #39;m a lovely boy that wants nothing more than to please. I #39;ll need secure fences and heaps of stuff to keep my mind busy when you #39;re away. If you think you #39;re ready for the job, come say Hi! You #39;ll find me at the Wacol Adoption Centre.
