Chem-Dry Carpet & Tile Franchise Expands Into Spain

MADRID, SPAIN--(Marketwired - Jan 22, 2015) - The Chem-Dry floor cleaning franchise system, which has more than 4,200 franchise units worldwide, is expanding into Spain. Chem-Dry has partnered with Jos Loureno to bring the world's largest floor cleaning franchise to Spain.

Loureno will serve as Chem-Dry's master franchisee, operating the brand, training and supporting entrepreneurs as they start and expand locally-owned Chem-Dry operations throughout the country.

Loureno, who has operated a Chem-Dry floor cleaning franchise in Portugal since 1999, says that being part of a respected worldwide brand has helped him win business that would have otherwise been inaccessible. For instance, an American cruise line that regularly uses Chem-Dry for cleaning in the United States sought out Chem-Dry -- and hired Loureno -- when the ship docked in Portugal. It was a massive job that bought in a lot of revenue, he says.

Loureno became the master franchisee for Chem-Dry in Portugal in 2005, and he is expanding into Spain because of the vast potential for growth.

He calls the Chem-Dry international leadership team "very reliable and trustworthy. They are leaders in carpet cleaning around the world, and I have a very good relationship with them."
