Hiring event at Workforce Center

Porter Industries will hold a hiring event from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday at the Broomfield Workforce Center, 6650 W. 120th Ave., Unit A-1. Porter is hiring for custodian manager and carpet cleaning technician. Positions are full time. Applicants must have valid driver's licenses and pass background and drug checks.

Workforce Center Job Club meeting

The Broomfield Workforce Center's free Job Club will meet from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Eisenhower Room at Mamie Doud Eisenhower Public Library, 3 Community Park Road. The topic will be "30 Mistakes Job Seekers Make."

Eisenhower Room available for job seeker networking from 11 a.m. to noon.

Small biz summit coming Feb. 26

The 2015 Broomfield Small Business Summit will be be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 26 at the Omni Interlocken Resort, 500 Interlocken Blvd.
