Douglas Hamming, Stantec architects Ltd, tells us what he thinks that will happen with the electric car. Jim Nicholson, BC Hydro, is driving differently with an electric car. Also Malcolm Shield, City of Vancouver, tells us what he thinks and knows about the electric car. Tom Bijvoet is reporting for TulipTV and DUTCH the magazine. He is in Newark, California. In Newark there is one of the biggest Dutch Coffee Clubs. There are a lot of Dutch clubs in America and it is their way to come get together and drink a coffee with lots of "gezelligheid". Most clubs meet every third Wednesday of the month at 10am. Tom talked to one of the organizers, Thea Pex, of the coffee club. She read in the Krant that there where so many coffe clubs but there was not one in their neighbourhood. That is how it started. The first time she asked all her Dutch connection. From 15 people to almost 64 people. Tom interviewed the president of the NESO, Trees Baams. NESO is organization that started in the 1960 #39;s and it is still growing.
