The presentation #39;s focus is on the effort and results of ABNAMRO while implementing EnterpriseDB. With 40 to 60 million transaction per day, the supporting database is of upmost importance for ABNAMRO. ABNAMRO has an own IT staff and datacenters all around the world. Nible is a consulting company focussing on high end database support on databases like Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server. In 2002 Nibble-IT started to support open source systems. Nibble-IT encountered Postgresql as an open source database and the foundation under EnterpriseDB. From a customer point of view Porstgresql was a logical choice and Nibble-IT is an established training center for PostgresQL and EnterpriseDB.
