CUT: Planning and process
Master plans are the road map to a city #39;s future. They point residents, businesses, and city governments toward a common destination. An inclusive, accessible process can bring communities together to imagine what a city can be. Planners and architects working in Detroit, Newark, and Philadelphia compare notes with Flint #39;s Chief Planner Megan Hunter on the challenges and opportunities their cities face and the best ways to engage publics. Speakers include Dan Kinkead of Hamilton Anderson Architects, Damon Rich, Chief Urban Designer, City of Newark and founder of Center for Urban Pedagogy (CUP), and Brent Ryan, author of Design After Decline. Daniel D #39;Oca of Interboro Partners moderates the discussion.From:stephenzacksViews:0 0ratingsTime:01:32:13More inNonprofits Activism
