Rules and Regulations Changes Effective September 2, 2014 Concerning Continuing Education

Full Regulation: http://sos.ri.gov/documents/archives/regdocs/released/pdf/BERA/7757.pdf

Due to the implementation of the new eLicensing system, the Board will no longer be mailing pocket licenses or providing wall certificates for framing. Licenses will be e-mailed in a .pdf format.

Therefore, it is imperative that you keep the Board apprised of your current e-mail addresses and all contact information.

Renewal postcards will no longer be mailed and will also be e-mailed.

Thank you for your patience during this transition.

Important Reminder to Registered Architects - Each entity that practices or offers to practice architecture in Rhode Island must hold a current Certificate of Authorization. This required "COA" is in addition to the individual's registration stamp. Check to make sure that your firm (whether sole proprietorship, corporation, partnership or LLC) has a current COA. Contact the Board of Examination and Registration of Architects with any questions.
