Last Thursday at 10:15 p.m. Pacifica Police personnel Pacifica Police Department personnel responded to the area in front of Safeway at the Linda Mar Shopping Center on a report of a strong-armed robbery that had just occurred. The suspect reportedly punched an adult female victim several times in the face, and then fled after stealing cash from her. The suspect was last seen fleeing on foot towards Highway 1 from Linda Mar Boulevard.

The victim had visible injuries to her facial area and was transported to a nearby hospital by ambulance for treatment. Pacifica Police Department personnel conducted an extensive search of the area on foot and with a police K-9 unit, but were unable to locate the suspect.

The suspect was described as a light skinned African-American or Hispanic male adult, 6'-0'' tall, approximately 270 pounds, clean shaven, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and black shoes.

Investigation into this crime is continuing by the Pacifica Police Department. Persons with information regarding this crime are asked to contact the Pacifica Police Department at 650-738-7314. Horses returned to owner

Fremont police department initiated an investigation about a couple of horses and a horse trailer that was later discovered on Millwood Ranch in Pacifica.

"It was quickly discovered that this was a civil issue and not a criminal act," said Captain Dan Steidle of the Pacifica police department. "Our officers did stand by Wednesday while the owner picked up his horses and trailer. There was no investigation conducted by our personnel."
