PORTSMOUTH Anthony March led three players in double figures as On Course Remodeling beat Marshall Rental, 58-47, in the Portsmouth Recreation Department senior basketball league.

March scored a team-high 15 points, while James Haslem and Sam Grobe scored 12 and 10 points, respectively.

Manny Barba led Marshall Rental with 18 points, while Connor DiCesare had 16.

In other senior basketball league action, Tyler Dewsnap's 17 points led Samonas Realty to a 48-37 win over North Church. Chris DeGraffe led North Church with 15 points and teammate Chad Campano had 13.

Also, Nick Ritzo scored 19 points and Quentin Desjardins had 12 as Universal Factory Outlet beat Rotary, 47-38. Rich Reilly led Rotary with 17 points.

DURHAM Jessica Hitchcock had two goals and an assist to lead the University of New Hampshire women's hockey team to a 4-1 victory against Providence College on Friday at the Whittemore Center.

UNH improved to 8-10-2 overall and 3-3-2 in Hockey East. The Friars fell to 8-14-0 (3-6-0).

Hitchcock set up the game's first goal, broke a 1-1 tie at 2:50 of the third period and secured the victory with an empty-net goal at 19:28. Nicole Gifford finished with a goal and an assist. Jonna Curtis scored UNH's other goal.

UNH netminder Ashley Wilkes made 12 of her 22 saves in the second period. PC goalie Sarah Bryant made 28 saves.
