100% Natural and is one of the hardest stones next to diamond. Nonporous and extremely durable, it can hold its own against hot pots. The varieties are endless, and no two slabs are exactly alike. We get new granite in from all over the world and only a visit to our showroom in New Jersey will show you all the varieties of granite counters that are available.

A re-crystallized limestone, usually heavily veined and shows lots of grains. It is heat-resistant and a highly decorative stone ranging in many colors including beautiful exotics. Slate is a cousin to marble and is great for shower stalls, floors and walls.

Onyx is a calcareous stone, formed by dissolving limestone and redeposit as a new kind of stone. Its a strikingly dramatic stone that comes in pastel colors and swirling patterns. As a softer stone, it is best used as a backsplash or in lighter traffic applications. Its translucent property allows light to flow through it and can be backlit for more dramatic effects.
