DUBLIN--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/kn5kgb/adoption_of_bim) has announced the addition of the "Adoption of BIM by Architects: 2013" report to their offering.

Building Information Modelling (BIM) is a hot topic, with government and the construction industry shouting its benefits. The problem for the manufacturer, with hard pressed budgets, is will I get a return on my investment? Adoption of BIM has been researched and written to help answer that question and then make the right implementation choices.

This report has been compiled to provide an impartial view and to help product manufacturers make informed decisions as part of their BIM strategy. The report indicates the UK rate of adoption and the value of construction influenced by BIM up to 2016, the types of BIM objects required and the support expected from manufacturers.

The publication includes 41 charts and tables. For this report feedback, both online and via the telephone, was obtained from over 100 architects who use BIM and are working in a range of practice sizes. Research was conducted during July 2013.

The 2013 BIM report researched the UK rate of implementation, the types of BIM objects required and the support expected from manufacturers. This data was then applied to the Construction Products Association's forecasts, combined with figures on adoption by architects from the National BIM Report 2013 to give an indication of the UK value of construction influenced by BIM today through to 2016.

This research into BIM will help manufacturers decide if their investment is justified.
