He further explains that he learnt this art through two of his friends, DJ Smallz and DJ Kealex. "DJ Kealex used to lock me inside the room to help me practice, then he handed me over to DJ Smallz who brought the best out of me and helped me polish my skills. I owe my success to these two men," he points out.

His work has landed on the ears of some prominent international DJs like; Rocco, Copyright, Osca P, Abiah Soul and Ronado of Deep Journey Recordings who have shown interest in his work. His music gained popularity through the accessibility of his digital house music for downloads and it has again managed to appear in top charts.

The talented DJ is also a fourth year student at the University of Botswana (UB) studying Business Administration in Marketing. He says he balances his DJ'ing, producing and school life well.

"I give my school work more time during the week and I usually attend to music and DJ'ing at weekends. I can confidently say that so far, all has been good," he says.

As if being a DJ and music producer is not enough, Mabe also works for Pryda Twisters, a company that provides P.A systems, lightening, stage and event management services, he proudly describes himself as a business minded person who is quick to grab any opportunity given to him.

His skills have been displayed at various events including Bull 'n bush, Lizard Entertainment both in Mochudi and Francistown, Trekkers Night Club, Fusion Entertainment, Fresh Exclusive in Maun and also at shows like four hour show, Independence Farm Fest, Easter Fiesta and Blocking party.
