Options for Foreign Architects and Interns
The opportunity to earn a license to practice architecture in the United States is open to all individuals, regardless of residency or country of education. The path for foreign individuals, however, can seem confusing. Please join NCARB staff for a comprehensive look at the issues encountered by foreign interns and foreign architects. Topics will include the EESA transcript evaluation process, IDP eligibility dates, working abroad, the Broadly Experienced Foreign Architect (BEFA) program, and more. We hope that attendees will take away a clearer understanding of how foreign individuals can succeed in their pursuit of US licensure.
