Witford invited a select handful of designers to participate in the contest by submitting a photo of a room showcasing their firm's talent to be placed on the company's website and votes cast through Facebook set the winner. Hundreds of visitors to the Witford Facebook site cast their votes daily to select the winner. The announcement of the Witford |Absolute Luxury winner was posted by the showroom on October 18, 2012, and is currently featured in depth on the company's website.

KMNelson Design, LLC submitted and won the contest from a photo of their 2012 Pasadena Showcase House of Design space, The Lady's Study, which beautifully illustrates how critical space planning, combined with the expert integration of color, texture, fabrics and collected personal objects, elevates even the most mundane rooms into luxurious, extraordinary spaces.
