Designer Proposes Trampoline Walkway
See this trampoline walking path. Who doesn #39;t like trampolines? An architectural firm has developed a prototype for a commuting sidewalk, which is essentially a long trampoline. The concept, dubbed #39;Fast Track #39; is the brainchild of Salto Architects. The designers state "Fast track" challenges the concept of infrastructure that only focuses on technical and functional aspects and tends to be ignorant to its surroundings. It is an attempt to create intelligent infrastructure that is emotional and corresponds to the local context. It gives the user a different experience of moving and perceiving the environment." #39;Fast Track #39; is designed for parks, not only to be a feature, but an integral part of the area #39;s foundation. It serves as a unique walking path which could make standard concrete sidewalks a thing of the past in some locations. The company built the trampoline path, which stretched across a field for a Russian festival, held earlier this year. One thing is certain, the innovative sidewalk will certainly prompt walkers to be aware of their surroundings. The constant bouncing involved with a trampoline surface surely makes walking a lot more exciting. How do you like it?From:geobeatsViews:69 2ratingsTime:01:06More inTravel Events
