In May of 2012, we were honored to be invited to participate in a special dinner hosted by Blind Pig Supper Club, an organization in Asheville, NC that seeks to create truly unique culinary experiences. We set up our camp kitchen under a pleasant summer rain on the grounds of the historic, mysterious and beautifully hobbit-like residence of one of Asheville #39;s most storied architects, Douglas D. Ellington. What unfolded was one of the most cherished experiences we #39;ve had in our short existence as a restaurant. From the magical setting, the delightful community of foodies, and the joyful camaraderie in the make-shift kitchen unfolded one of the most cherished experiences we #39;ve had in our short existence as a restaurant.
