Look for big changes coming to one of Northeast Ohio's true dining landmarks. Giovanni's Ristorante in Beachwood is about to undergo a major remodeling.

"If you don't change every 10 years or so, you're in trouble," says owner Carl Quagliata. "We've probably been operating on the same level as 12 years ago. It's time."

That means a reallocation of space, he says. A small party room will be incorporated into the front of the restaurant. The bar will be expanded, with the addition of walk-through wine racks -- "so you can see into the bar and into the dining room," Quagliata says.
