An Edmond familys livelihood was stolen while their home was flooded their truck, trailer and tools are all gone.When I stepped in the utility room, I was above my foot in water, Tony Kerley said.Kerley and his wife, Amanda, told KOCO 5 that it started when their house flooded.We were going to need to start moving things out quickly, Tony Kerley said.So, they got some air movers that loudly dry water.You cant hear over the fans, Amanda Kerley said.Thats why the Kerleys didnt hear it when someone stole their truck, trailer and tools.Wheres your truck? He goes, What? I said, Wheres your truck? Amanda Kerley said.They were both speechless because the doors were locked with the key inside their home.They just somehow unlocked the door, Tony Kerley said.Tony Kerley uses the truck, trailer and tools for his home remodeling and repair business.My 12-foot trailer is completely full of tools I had even before the business, Tony Kerley said.He said theres thousands of dollars worth of tools, some of which are irreplaceable.Were frustrated. Were angry. Were upset, Tony Kerley said.Even though Tony Kerley cant go back to work until he gets his possessions back and theyre still dealing with a flooded home, they arent losing faith.God will take care of us, Amanda Kerley said.But the couple has something to say to the thieves.Just please return our stuff, no judgment. Its our livelihood. Its how we provide for our children, Amanda Kerley said.
