Mansfield is offering a Bark Ranger certification class from 2 to 3:15 p.m. next Friday at Oliver Nature Park. In addition to talking about outdoor safety and how you and your pet can become park stewards, they will create a keepsake. Upon completion of the training, you and your pet will receive a certificate, an honorary Bark Ranger dog tag, a collapsible bowl and treats. Then they will hit the trails to show off your new skills. Dont have a dog? You can participate with a shelter dog. Future dates are April 2 and 18 (times vary).
