WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. - A weekend fire at a Wheat Ridge carpet cleaning business has been ruled arson, a fire official said Monday.

The fire occurred Saturday night at 4900 Iris St., which houses Be Green Carpet Cleaning, said Scott Pribble, spokesman for the Arvada Fire Protection District, which serves north Wheat Ridge.

The fire was started in "multiple places" inside the carpet cleaning firm, which is on the west side of the two-unit commercial building.

"We have a couple of people of interest that we're tracking down, trying to figure things out and chasing down leads at this point," Pribble said.

Arvada Fire is working with the Wheat Ridge police "to find who set the fire," he added.

The arson caused substantial damage, including fire and smoke damage. The smoke damage spread through out the building, including into a fine-art printing firm, Infinite Editions, on the east side of the building, Pribble said.
