LEADINGthe charge as Irelands authority on all things party, Desperados, the original tequila flavoured beer, has launched The Verde Mix Up DJ Challenge.

The exciting competition challenges DJs around Ireland to get in the mix to win an epic prize of 1000 worth of DJ equipment.

And to celebrate The Scene is today giving away a set of digital DJ decks (worth about 250) which come with a controller, software and everything you need to become a DJ.

Its part of the celebrations for the launch of their delicious new flavoured beer Verde.

Verde is the ultimate xmix on Desperados current tequila flavoured beer offering.

With the addition of mint and lime Verde unleashes an unbelievable, mojito-like taste sensation.

To mark the beers arrival the Desperados team is challenging DJs around Ireland to create a pumpin 10 minute mini-mix with a twist all the songs must be remixes!

The entries will be judged by an expert music panel featuring DJ Brian Maher and host of Spin 1038s Resistance Pete Maguire.

The chosen finalists will progress to a showdown where mixes will be judged by Desperados fans nationwide with the lucky winner getting their party paws on the e1000 worth of DJ equipment!
