Chicago, IL (PRWEB) November 30, 2014

Ellas Bubbles, a leading provider of high quality walk in bathtubs and proponent of universal design, is proud to be a part of a holiday wish come true with a donation of an Ella Barrier Free, Roll In Shower to a family in Newnan, GA. This family includes a 17 year old high school student named Jacob Adams. Jacob was born with spinal bifida, and the family did not have the ability to build out a handi-capable bathroom for their son. The existing bathrooms had only standard bathtubs; this not only made bathing a chore, but stripped the high school senior of privacy while bathing.

The family spoke to The Home Depot Specialty Sales Assistant Store Manager Henry Rodriguez for some suggestions on how to build out an accessible bathroom for their son. According to Brian Hofmann, Store manager of the Home Depot in Newnan, The mother had spoken to SASM Henry Rodriguez about possibly being able to do something to help them out in remodeling their restroom. Henry took the ball and ran for the goal line. And run he did. In addition to the roll in shower from Ellas Bubbles, paint was donated by Behr. Kenny Higgins D30 DS, Kevin Allen D42 DS, Chris Umbach Project Specialist and MASM Wally Kornacki worked together to make this dream a reality, and within a week the Adams had a brand new accessible bathroom. During this remodel, the walls were stripped down to the studs, and the toilet, sink, shower, and tile were replaced. Even the existing plumbing was repaired and replaced. After all of that hard work, Jacob now has a bathroom that enables him, instead of just getting in the way.

Ellas Bubbles has many roll-in shower options, including several shower options that are ADA compliant. The Ella Standard Barrier Free Showers have 2 ADA complaint packages, the Plus 24 and the Plus 36. These packages come with a four-legged foldup seat, and a 3 piece set of either 24 or 36 brushed stainless steel grab bars, respectively. Our ADA compliant Deluxe Barrier Free Shower also includes the Four-legged foldup seat and brushed steel grab bar set, but also includes a hand shower with hose and mounts, Hansgrohe interchangeable iBox with pressure balance valve, brushed stainless steel rod and heavy weighted shower curtain, and other accessories. Standard accessories for all Ella Barrier Free Showers include a collapsible dam and a 2 drain with a friction seal.

Another great accessibility option for homes both new and old are the Ella Acrylic walk in bathtubs. These tubs have several mobility friendly features, such as Grab bars, extensions on the controls, and molded seat that can be raised to 17 with an optional 2 custom seat cushion. It also includes a beautiful stainless steel door and our Dual Drain technology, allowing 80 second quick drain capability.
