The Southern Living Taste of Charleston will take place at Boone Hall Plantation on Sunday, September 28. The event hosts 50 of the Lowcountry's favorite casual and fine dining restaurants serving sample size portions along with beer and wine. There's also an Iron Chef competition that pits Kelly Franz of Magnolias and Landen Ganstrom of Crave Kitchen + Cocktails against Allison Porter of Tristan Events and Mike Petrillo of Lokal Seabar Restaurant.

New Belgium Brewing'sannual Clips Beer & Film Tour comes to Marion Square on September 25. The beer-toting, film-traveling, nonprofit-benefiting show is going coast-to-coast hitting 21 cities with 100 percent of the proceeds from beer sales benefitting local nonprofits. In Charleston, that local non-profit is Charleston Moves. While the main attracting is New Belgium's most esoteric beer offerings and short films created by New Belgium fans, there will also be food offerings from Roti Rolls, Low Country Creole, Mellow Mushroom and Hello, My Name is BBQ.
