HOUSTON -

Two men who were impersonating police officers robbed a game room in northwest Houston Thursday morning, according to Houston police.

According to police, two men posing as officers went to the game room on Antoine near Pinemont around 6 a.m. The game room was closed and a cleaning man was the only person inside the business.

At around 8 a.m. Thursday, David Legra, who works security at the game room, showed up for work and found the cleaning man handcuffed to the bathroom. He had been in there for two hours after fake cops cuffed him to the toilet and robbed the business.

"He said a cop came to the window with a warrant saying that they need to check the area. He doesn't know so he opened the door, and as soon as he opened the door, the cop told him they were going to check the area, so the cops put the handcuffs on him and put him in the restroom," said Legra.

The cleaning man said one of the men was dressed like an officer, wearing all black and a gun belt. He didn't even realize they were fake officers until the security guard showed up and called the manager who then called police.

"They stole my computer Macbook Pro that is like $2,000 and the safe," Legra said.

The crooks managed to steal the six-foot safe with an undisclosed amount of money inside.
