Pest control manager Ray Morgan says over the next several days a lot of mosquitoes are going to descend on the city.

REGINA Reginas been swamped by rain lately but when it finally clears, theres likely to be another reason to complain.

Pest control manager Ray Morgan says over the next several days a lot of mosquitoes are going to descend on the city.

Theyre seeing lots of larvae in standing water around the city and those will inevitably emerge into full-blown skeeters.

Although the numbers are expected to be higher this summer, Morgan says Regina is still under the ten-year average for mosquito populations.

Mosquito population expected to rise in Regina over the next few days.
