Seven designer-decorated, fully-furnished luxury model residences are being showcased at Kitson & Partners Talis Park community in North Naples during the CBIA 2014 Multi-Site Parade of Homes that ends today. Visitors are invited to tour model homes by Distinctive Communities, Divco Construction Corp., Fox Custom Builders, Harbourside Custom Homes, Iron Star Luxury Homes and Sunwest Homes. The residences are open today from noon to 5 p.m.

Two of the models being showcased at Talis Park were named recipients of distinguished awards at the CBIAs Parade of Homes Awards event held on March 6. Fox Custom Builders Barlovento model in Talis Parks Brightling neighborhood was acknowledged with CBIAs Best Overall Construction and Design Award in its price category.

The 2,600 to 3,400-square-foot Park Homes in Brightling offer golf course, water and preserve views. Caribbean Colonial and Spanish Eclectic designs by Sunwest Homes and Fox are base-priced at $1.1 million and include three or four bedrooms, a study, formal dining rooms, island kitchens, spacious master suites and outdoor living areas with swimming pools.

The Barloventos 3,433-square-foot floor plan includes a great room, study, a formal dining room that opens to a garden and patio, an island kitchen and an outdoor living area with a covered lanai, pool, spa, an optional fireplace and outdoor kitchen and views of the fairways and greens of the communitys Greg Norman-Pete Dye designed golf course. The approach to the home features a motor court and a walled courtyard entry

The Barloventos transitional interior was designed by Kelley Bridwell and C. Chad Elkins of Clive Daniel Home. Their color palette includes neutral tones mixed with hints of gold and silver. Travertine flooring is featured in the main living areas. The entry opens to a grand hallway with an Emperador marble mosaic floor detail inlaid to match three quad-coffer ceiling details. An adjacent study features hardwood flooring with a reclaimed wood finish and a ceiling treatment that replicates the design in the hallway. A similar ceiling is found in the dining room where high-gloss applied molding is combined with mirrors to provide a stunning wall treatment.

Fox is currently building four Resident Ready homes in Brightling, including a second Barlovento residence as well as its Barlovento II, Camilla and Nadia floor plans. The unfurnished residences range from 3,083 to 3,550 square feet and are priced from $1.325 million to $1.45 million.

The 3,083-square-foot Camilla floor plan offers three bedrooms, a private covered lanai off one of the guest bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a study, a formal dining room, an optional wet bar, a den, a gourmet island kitchen, and a great room that opens to an outdoor living area with a large covered lanai, outdoor kitchen, fireplace, pool and spa. The Camilla also includes a three-car garage.

The 3,550-square-foot Nadia and the 3,239-square-foot Barlovento II are great room floor plans that include formal dining rooms, large island kitchens and breakfast areas, three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a study, a three-car garage, and outdoor living areas that offer an ideal setting for enjoying Brightlings park-like views and include summer kitchens, fireplaces, pools and spas.

Sunwest Homes 3,499-square-foot, two-story Santa Barbara model in Brightling is also being showcased during the Parade of Homes and was named recipient of a CBIA Merit Award. The Santa Barbaras architecture combines traditional elements with clean contemporary lines. An open, great room floor plan maximizes the connection between the indoors and outdoor living area.
