Description of Modular Second Story Addition Construction

The existing roof will be completely removed and and the home will be prepped for the new addition. The existing air handler and duct work will be removed from the existing attic. The chimney will be cut down prior to installation of the modular addition. The new second story addition will be delivered in the form of two modules.Both modules will be hoisted into place using a crane. Once the modules have been placed into the correct position the existing chimney will be extended to protrude through the new roof. The new second story addition will overhang approximately 1' over the front and back of the existing house's lower level exterior walls. The A/C will be reinstalled in the new attic and new ductwork will be extended into both levels. The new staircase will be installed over the existing basement stairway. Once the addition has been set in place, all of the electrical and mechanical connections will be made in the basement. Flooring, trim, and drywall will be finished and the end result will be seamless. Check out the construction costs below.

American Vision Windows Delivered

I'm going to start at the beginning with my experience with American Vision Windows.

Sales: Glenn was on time to our scheduled appointment. He explained the different types of windows your company offered. He also explained the pros and cons of going with a lower quality window. Overall, He did a great job without the typical high pressure sales pitch.

Scheduling: My windows arrived about 3 weeks after placing my order. Angela called me to schedule my installation. She was helpful and answered any questions I had regarding the installation of my windows.

Install team: I was given a one hour window for my install. Javier and his team led by Will, Oscar and Abel arrived at my home on time and ready to work. Before the work began, Javier's team covered my entire home with plastic wrap and protected my floors from any damage. The install was smooth and it was complete by the end of the afternoon. Before the work was complete the install team vacuumed my home and even put all my furniture back in its original place. I had a final walkthrough where they showed me all the features of my windows.

Overall: I feel that American Vision Windows delivered on their promise to provide great products complemented with great customer service. I would recommend this company to my family and friends.
